Simi Fehoko Catches His Second TD Of Preseason In Win

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko caught his second touchdown in as many weeks in Thursday's preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Fehoko caught all three of his targets for 23 receiving yards and the score in the Cardinals' 27-14 victory. The touchdown reception was similar to his score in last week's Hall of Fame Game. In both cases, Fehoko used his 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame to create separation and keep his defender from making a play on the ball. Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, and Kendrick Bourne are at the top of Arizona's wide receiver room, so Fehoko's preseason performance is as much about keeping his job as it is jockeying for positioning on the depth chart. Even if he sticks with the team, he is more likely to have an impact on special teams than in fantasy football. In his five-year career, the receiver has as many tackles as receptions in the regular season (10).

Simi Fehoko Catches Touchdown Pass In Preseason Opener

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko caught his lone target for a five-yard touchdown in Thursday's 33-30 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Fehoko had the second-highest snap count among Arizona's wide receivers, but was ignored in the pass game outside of his end zone target. The score came on a five-yard fade route midway through the second quarter. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Fehoko got outside his defender and pulled in the pass from quarterback Carson Beck with one arm to secure the touchdown. Fehoko will be fighting this preseason for a role in the back end of the Cardinals' wide receiver depth chart. He has been in the NFL since 2021, having previously played for the Cowboys and Chargers, but has never played in more than eight games in a season. This is his second year with the Cardinals. His next chance to work his way up the ladder will come against the Las Vegas Raiders on August 13.

Cardinals Re-Sign Receiver Simi Fehoko to One-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals re-signed wide receiver Simi Fehoko (wrist) to an undisclosed one-year deal on Friday, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN. Fehoko didn't play behind Week 10 last year after suffering a wrist injury. The 28-year-old finished his fifth year in the league (first with Arizona) with no catches on no targets despite appearing in eight games for the Cardinals. The former fifth-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 out of Stanford played just 37 offense snaps and 116 special teams snaps. In his five years in the NFL, Fehoko hasn't seen many opportunities as a pass-catcher, hauling in 10 of 22 targets for 139 yards and one touchdown in 32 games (two starts). He will return to the desert to provide WR depth behind Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, and Kendrick Bourne. Fehoko can be ignored in all fantasy football formats.

Simi Fehoko Snags Another Touchdown on Saturday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko was able to grab a second touchdown reception in as many preseason games. During the 20-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday, Fehoko saw two targets and caught one of them for a 10-yard touchdown towards the end of the first quarter. The former fifth-round pick finishes the preseason with three receptions for 31 yards and two touchdowns. While he's still a long shot even in dynasty leagues, Fehoko could be hanging around as a depth option for the Cardinals this season.

Simi Fehoko Signing With Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have reached an agreement with free-agent wide receiver Simi Fehoko on Friday. The two sides agreed on a one-year deal for an undisclosed amount of money. Fehoko is a former fifth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys who spent each of the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. Last season, Fehoko hauled in six receptions for 106 yards in eight games, which was a career-high for him. This move is mainly to add depth at wideout and give the Cardinals another option on special teams. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore Fehoko on draft day.

Simi Fehoko Listed As Questionable For Saturday

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko (elbow) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's Wild-Card game against the Houston Texans. Fehoko is on the injured reserve, but he had his 21-day practice window opened on Tuesday. He has practiced in full each of the last two days, which is good news ahead of Saturday's game. If active, Fehoko might see a bigger role than normal with Joshua Palmer (foot) ruled out and Quentin Johnston (thigh, illness) questionable for this game. He's too risky of an option to be trusted in DFS lineups.

Simi Fehoko Could See More Involvement

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko was hardly involved in the offense until a few weeks ago. However, the 26-year-old has seen an increased role lately with the Chargers banged up at wideout. Over the last two weeks, Fehoko has hauled in five of his 10 targets for 89 yards. There's a good chance he continues seeing extended playing time with Quentin Johnston (ankle) listed as doubtful and Ladd McConkey (hip) tagged as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. The absence of either player should mean more targets for Fehoko in Week 8. He's not an ideal fantasy option but could be a low-end flex option for desperate fantasy managers this weekend.

Simi Fehoko Makes Three Catches In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko made three catches in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted six times, making the three catches for 45 yards. Fehoko also drew a clear pass interference penalty near the end of the fourth quarter that was not called for some reason no one without a Cardinals jersey understood. Fehoko remains a special teams player on the Chargers, but he's been seeing more work on offense and has made some solid plays in the past couple of weeks. He's not a fantasy option right now, but he might develop into a fringe FLEX option in deeper leagues if the Chargers wide receiving corps suffers some injuries later in the season.

Simi Fehoko Scores A Long Touchdown In Preseason Finale

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko scored a long touchdown in a preseason win against the Dallas Cowboys. Fehoko was targeted twice, making two catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. His score came on a huge throw from Easton Stick that ended up as a 78-yard touchdown pass. Fehoko dominated the Chargers passing game in preseason play, but he's not expected to see much time on offense once the regular season begins.

Simi Fehoko Leads The Chargers Receiving Corps In Their First Preseason Action

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Simi Fehoko led the team in receptions and finished second in yards gained in a Preseason Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Fehoko was targeted four times, tied for the team lead in that category, and made three catches, gaining 33 yards. Most of his yards came on a 29-yard reception. Fehoko is mostly a special teamer and depth in the Chargers wide receiver room, as he only made one catch all of last season.
