Ravens
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker David Ojabo (knee) suffered a partially torn ACL in Week 3 of last season, but he is expected to be a full participant at some point in training camp later this summer. The 2022 second-round pick suffered a torn Achilles in the pre-draft process leading up to the 2022 NFL Draft, or he likely would've been a first-rounder. Through two NFL seasons, he has accumulated seven total tackles, two sacks, and two forced fumbles in just five games. Hopefully, he can stay healthy in 2024 and show what he can do as at least a situational pass-rusher.

David Ojabo Undergoes ACL Surgery
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker David Ojabo (knee) had surgery last week to fix his partially torn ACL, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The hope is that Ojabo is fine and good to go for the start of training camp next summer. The 23-year-old second-round pick in 2022 out of Michigan played in just three games (one start) this year before going down with the season-ending knee injury, and he's played in only five games in his first two NFL seasons due to the injury bug. Ojabo will once again close out the year on Injured Reserve, while veteran Kyle Van Noy and rookie Tavius Robinson serve as linebacking depth for the Ravens the rest of the season.

David Ojabo Could Miss The Rest Of The Season
Baltimore Ravens linebacker David Ojabo (ankle, knee) has a decision to make on whether his ankle/knee injury will end his 2023 season, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Ojabo was injured in the Week 3 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts and was placed on Injured Reserve, so he must sit out at least four games. It will likely come down to whether the 23-year-old decides to go under the knife. Ojabo was the team's second-round selection last year out of Michigan. He played in just two games in his rookie year due to injury and might finish his sophomore campaign with only three games played.

David Ojabo Looks Like A Different Player
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker David Ojabo (Achilles) played just 21 defensive snaps in his rookie season in 2022 after missing most of the year rehabbing a torn Achilles. But the former second-round pick didn't look like a rookie during organized team activities and minicamp this offseason, practicing with plenty of energy and effort. He showed his speed and explosiveness and gave the team's offensive tackles fits at times. Ojabo still has plenty of learning to do, but he has looked like a different player than he did last year when he started practicing in November. The 23-year-old added five to 10 pounds of muscle in the offseason and feels much more explosive. He'll have every chance to carve out plenty of playing time in his first NFL season this year.

David Ojabo Past His Achilles Injury
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker David Ojabo (Achilles) is fully healthy and is determined to make the impact that he couldn't during his rookie season after suffering a torn Achilles last March at Michigan's Pro Day. Ojabo saw significant action in just one game, the regular season finale, in 2022. His upper body is noticeably bigger this offseason, and he said he gained "a solid five to 10 pounds of muscle." "Honestly I'm tired of hearing about it," Ojabo said. "It's in my past, I've grown from it. It's made me stronger. I'm ready to move on from it. I'm 110%. I honestly feel better. I feel more explosive. I'm excited." The 23-year-old could have been a first-rounder if not for his injury, and he should have every opportunity to earn a big role for the Ravens D in 2023.

David Ojabo To Make His Debut Saturday
Baltimore Ravens rookie outside linebacker David Ojabo (Achilles) will make his NFL debut in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, according to a source. Ojabo was an All-American at the University of Michigan and was a highly projected first-round pick, but unfortunately he suffered a torn Achilles at his Pro Day workout and dropped into the second round. The Ravens will almost certainly ease Ojabo into the fold on defense, so don't expect him to be out there all the time this weekend. But the 22-year-old pass-rusher will give an already strong Ravens defense a boost down the stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs. Baltimore's defense/special teams unit should be considered a top-10 fantasy defense against a still-rusty Deshaun Watson.

Ravens Agree With Rookie David Ojabo
The Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms with Michigan rookie outside linebacker David Ojabo (Achilles) on his four-year rookie deal on Tuesday, ending his training camp holdout. The Ravens weren't exactly in a rush to sign Ojabo, who tore his Achilles at a pro-day workout earlier this year. Baltimore expects the second-rounder to return at some point this season, but that could be a stretch. The 22-year-old played under Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald in college, so he should fit in with the team's defensive scheme when he's healthy. If not for his Achilles injury earlier this year, Ojabo would've likely come off the board in the first round of the draft.
