Jordan Poyer News
Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer (head) was injured during Sunday's postseason meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals. The 31-year-old collided with cornerback Tre'Davious White while attempting to intercept a deep pass to Tee Higgins. Both players remained on the ground in obvious pain. As a result, Poyer went to the locker room for an evaluation, and although he doesn't have an official designation, he should be considered questionable to return. If he doesn't, he'll finish the day with six total tackles. With Poyer set for free agency this offseason, it may be the last time anyone sees him in a Bills uniform.
Buffalo Bills All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer (knee) said that he has been playing this year with a torn lateral meniscus in his knee, but he will be out there on Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals to close out Week 17 action. Buffalo hasn't lost any of the last 14 regular season games that Poyer has played in. Poyer was listed as questionable for Monday's game, but he will play and should be an every-down player after playing 92 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's win over the Chicago Bears. The Bills defense will need all the help they can get in trying to slow down Bengals wideouts Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in a big AFC showdown. A first-time Pro Bowler in 2022, Poyer enters the game with 54 tackles (37 solo), four tackles for loss, four interceptions and eight passes defensed in 11 starts.
Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer (knee) is listed as questionable for the Week 17 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 31-year-old missed practice on Thursday and Friday due to a lingering knee issue. His absence would certainly be a significant hit to the Bills defense. Poyer leads the team with four interceptions and ranks top 12 in coverage grades among safeties this season, according to Pro Football Focus. The Bills defense is not exactly a strong play in fantasy leagues against the Bengals offensive unit. However, Poyer being on the field would certainly be an upgrade for this defense.
