Josh Lambo Designated To Return From Injured Reserve

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo (hip) has been designated to return from Injured Reserve after missing the last four weeks with a left hip injury. The Jaguars have used a revolving door at kicker ever since Lambo was put on IR four weeks ago. They went with Jon Brown, who had never previously kicked in the NFL, in Week 6. In his two games before his hip injury, Lambo made all three of his field-goal attempts and six of his seven extra points. The Chargers Defense, Jacksonville's Week 7 opponent, has allowed the third-most fantasy points per week to kickers, but Lambo just won't be a very trustworthy option coming off injury for an inconsistent Jaguars offense.

Jaguars Put Josh Lambo On Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing kicker Josh Lambo (hip) on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday. Brandon Wright will be the team's kicker in the Week 3 game on Thursday night against the Dolphins. It sounds as if Lambo has a chance to return in around a month, barring any setbacks. The 29-year-old is perfect on his three field-goal tries through two games this year, and he's missed one of his seven extra points. You should go on ignoring Jacksonville's kicking situation for the time being.

Josh Lambo 2-For-2 On Field Goals Versus Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo connected on both of his field goal attempts in Week 15, a 28-yarder and a 43-yarder. He also hit both of his extra-point attempts in the game. Lambo has converted on 28 of his 29 field goal attempts this year, which is of course fantastic. However, the Jaguars haven't been able to get him a lot of attempts lately. He had only one field goal attempt in four of his past five games. Because of his efficiency, he's a possible low-end starting kicker option, but you may want to go with someone who receives more steady opportunities.
