Keith Marshall Has Rocky NFL Debut
It has to be an amazing experience for players to take the field in their first NFL game, even if it is just the preseason, but Thursday night couldn't have gone much worse for Washington Redskins running back Keith Marshall in his debut. The rookie finished the night with five carries for a dreadful -1 yards. He did add two catches for 10 yards, but when you are a running back, who earlier this week was being touted as a difference maker by the GM, you might want to show a bit more skill on the ground. However, it was only the first game of the preseason, and Marshall still has time to show coaches he can make a meaningful impact on the game in the following weeks. Next week Washington will be at home, as they host the New York Jets.
