Kendall Hinton News
Wide receiver Kendall Hinton was let go by the Denver Broncos in a round of cuts on Sunday. The undrafted wide receiver caught 24 passes for 311 yards in the 2022 season, both of which were career-high totals. Hinton is best known for starting a game at quarterback during the 2020 season when the NFL ruled all of Denver's signal callers were ineligible due to exposure to COVID. He was applauded for stepping in, even though the stats (1-for-9 passing for 13 yards and two interceptions) told a different story.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Kendall Hinton (knee) was placed on the unable to perform list on Sunday. The 26-year-old had a minor knee scope and is expected to be ready by the beginning of the season. Sadly for him, the Broncos have added more talent to their wide receiver group this offseason. Hinton will need to show up and play well during training camp and the preseason to earn a role for himself. Last season, Hinton finished with 24 receptions, 331 receiving yards, and was held without a touchdown in 12 games. The Broncos also had multiple injuries at wideout, which led to Hinton getting a bigger role. He'll have to set up and earn his spot now.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Kendall Hinton (knee) said he had a minor knee scope this offseason and will be recovered in time for the start of training camp at the end of July. Barring some sort of setback in training camp, Hinton should be ready for the start of the 2023 regular season as he provides depth to the Broncos' receiver's room. The 26-year-old played in 12 games (five starts) in his third NFL campaign in 2022 and set career-highs in catches (24), targets (33) and receiving yards (311) without scoring a touchdown. He also served as a punt returner at times for the Broncos. Hinton is buried on Denver's receiver depth chart and can absolutely be ignored for fantasy purposes this fall.
