Khalfani Muhammad Breaks Loose For Big Run Against Cardinals
Denver Broncos running back Khalfani Muhammad broke out for a 47-yard run Thursday evening against the Arizona Cardinals, the shining moment of his preseason thus far. While the run was a high note for the third-year back, it inflated what looks like a strong stat line at first glance. Taking his 47-yard run out of the equation, Muhammad averaged 2.3 yards on 10 attempts, figures that simply won't cut it at this level and will most likely keep him with little fantasy relevance this year.
Khalfani Muhammad Has Abysmal Performance Versus Rams
Denver Broncos running back Khalfani Muhammad was given the chance to show the coaching staff what he could bring to the table on Saturday evening, as he was given the bulk of reps for the Broncos. Muhammad struggled with the volume given to him, only tallying 30 yards on 10 attempts. The third-year back did very little to help his stock as he is fighting for any fantasy relevance, and should be ignored in most leagues at the moment.

The Broncos have a ton of options at RB and that list grew with the signing of Theo Riddick on Friday. Muhammad has a long way to go until he finds himself on the team, but he's doing everything in his control up to this point. His name was already being thrown around as someone impressing in camp and he immediately turned that into game production. He ran for 50 yards and a touchdown, and added a team-high four catches for 24 yards. If Muhammad continues this dominance through the preseason, the Broncos will have no chance but to keep him on the roster.
