Lakiem Williams Recovers Fumble On Special Teams
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lakiem Williams racked up one quarterback hit and one fumble recovery during Thursday's preseason loss to the Chicago Bears. The second-year defender's fumble recovery came on special teams when Dazz Newsome muffed a punt and Williams pounced on it. Undrafted out of Syracuse last year, Williams spent 2021 as a practice squad player for the Saints and Seahawks. Williams has impressive speed and size, so he's certainly in the mix for a roster spot if he can continue to impress on special teams.
