Logan Woodside Fantasy

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Logan Woodside will likely be the third-string quarterback for the team at the beginning of the season. During the game against the Dolphins last night, he completed 14 out of 23 passes for 146 yards and did not throw any interceptions. While it was a decent performance, Woodside was sacked four times and only had one rush for five yards. His longest completion of the night was a 27-yard pass to Xavier Malone. Woodside is expected to receive the most playing time in the upcoming preseason game.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Logan Woodside completed 14-of-24 passes for 102 yards in Thursday's 23-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It wasn't the best showing for the 27-year-old, as he threw two interceptions and finished with a 33.7 passer rating. Woodside will look to redeem himself in the team's next preseason game against the Buccaneers, where he will be fighting for the No. 2 position on the depth chart with rookie Malik Willis. Ryan Tannehill is penciled in as the team's QB1, so Woodside is well off the fantasy roster for now.

The Tennessee Titans placed backup quarterback Logan Woodside on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. If Woodside is vaccinated, he must be asymptomatic and return two negative tests in order to active for this Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. Behind Woodside, the Titans have Kevin Hogan on the practice squad, so they'll likely elevate Hogan to the active roster for this weekend if Woodside doesn't get cleared. Woodside, a seventh-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018, has taken three kneel-downs for the Titans this year and has attempted only three passes in two NFL seasons.
