Mark Ingram Says His Calf Is Good

Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram (calf) said that his calf is "really good." "(I was) trying to be ready for divisional. Felt good but we just werent able to pull it out," Ingram said. Ingram was hurt in Week 16, sat out of Week 17 and had just six carries for 22 yards in the Divisional Round loss to the Titans. He was more than effective for fantasy owners in his first season in Baltimore, going for his third 1,000-yard season while also scoring 15 total touchdowns (10 rushing, five receiving). Gus Edwards and Justice Hill are more than capable of splitting the workload without Ingram, but he'll continue to carry the load in 2020 as a touchdown-dependent RB2.

Mark Ingram Accrues Only 22 Rushing Yards In Loss

Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram ran for 22 yards on just six attempts during the loss to the Titans on Saturday. He also had a catch for nine yards. Ingram came into this one carrying a designation after injuring his calf in Week 16 of the regular season, so his lack of productivity in this one wasn't a huge surprise. Lamar Jackson also virtually monopolized the team's rushing attack, finishing with 143 yards on 20 carries. Nonetheless, the 30-year-old had one of the best seasons of his career and will likely be off the board within the first three rounds in fantasy drafts next season, even with Jackson likely to continue gobbling up yards on the ground in 2020.

Gus Edwards Playable If Mark Ingram Sits

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards rushed for 130 yards on 21 carries in Mark Ingram's stead against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17. Edwards will likely resume his responsibilities as Ingram's backup going into this weekend's divisional-round matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Ingram is still dealing with the calf injury that sidelined him in Week 16, but Adam Schefter reports he is still "expected to play". If Ingram is unable to go or is limited this weekend, expect Edwards to assume the No. 1 role as he's proven his ability to get the ball moving down the field when given the touches. It's best to wait and see if Ingram's injury will affect the time he sees on the field before rolling Edwards into your lineups this weekend.
