Mark Ingram II News

Mark Ingram II, J.K. Dobbins Test Positive For COVID-19

Baltimore Ravens running backs Mark Ingram II and rookie J.K. Dobbins have tested positive for COVID-19 and will go on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, according to sources. With Baltimore playing on Thursday night against the undefeated Steelers in Week 12, both Ingram and Dobbins will be inactive. That means that Gus Edwards and Justice Hill will be the two primary backs in the Ravens backfield for the important divisional matchup this week. Edwards had just three carries for six yards in the Week 11 loss to the Titans in overtime, but he figures to be the featured back against Pittsburgh. The Steelers allow the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position, but Edwards will have RB2 upside with both Ingram and Dobbins sidelined.

Mark Ingram II Disappears In Week 11

Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram II ran the ball just two times in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, finishing with two rushing yards. He played just six snaps. Ingram is third on the depth chart at running back now and is averaging one yard per carry in the past two weeks. It's time for fantasy managers to drop Ingram in everything but 14-team or deeper leagues, and you might be fine to move on there as well.

Mark Ingram II Has Injury Designation Removed For Sunday

Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram II (non-injury related) is not on the team's final injury report ahead of Sunday's contest against the Titans, paving the way for the veteran to take the field. Even with his status confirmed for the game, Ingram is an extremely risky fantasy asset due to the competitive nature of the Ravens' backfield with Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins pushing for carries. Last week, Ingram was held to just five carries for five yards, and his goal line touches are no longer as secure as they were previously due to Edwards' bruising running nature. Aside from the deepest season-long leagues, Ingram can remain on the waiver wire until he proves to see a significant share of the carries.
