Brossette also added 18 receiving yards on four catches in the final preseason game of the season. Brossette is battling for a spot in a crowded backfield but has done a solid job throughout camp. He had led the Patriots with 65 carries for 200 yards and three touchdowns. The rookie averaged only 3.1 yards per carry but has scored in three of the team's four preseason games. Final cuts are expected to be named late Thursday night.
