Nick Sciba Makes Two Field Goals In NFL Debut Vs. Eagles
Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Nick Sciba made both of his field goals and tacked on an extra point in a 35-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. After setting an NCAA record for field-goal accuracy at Wake Forest, Sciba went undrafted before spending some time with the Steelers this past training camp. They needed him in Week 8 after regular kicker Chris Boswell (groin) injured his groin on Friday and was inactive on Sunday. Sciba will not unseat Boswell as the team's kicker but he could stick around if the latter is not ready to return against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. The Steelers are on bye in Week 9, giving Boswell some extra time to heal up.
