Dolphins Bring Back Nik Needham On One-Year Deal
The Miami Dolphins agreed to re-sign cornerback Nik Needham on a one-year deal worth just under $2 million on Wednesday, according to a source. Needham will stay in Miami, where he has played since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The 26-year-old played in a career-low six games (five starts) last year after tearing his Achilles in October. In his four years with the team, he has recorded 192 tackles (139 solo), three sacks, six QB hits, six interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 25 passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 51 games played (27 starts).
