Ryan Mallett Fantasy Stats

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett came into the game near the end of the first half after starter Joe Flacco was knocked out from a blow to the head. Mallett threw for a touchdown on that drive to make it 20-0 and after that was not needed to pass much in the second half. The word on Flacco after the game gave no indication if he would miss any extra games which leaves Mallett's value in limbo.

Mallett is hoping to be the starter if the worst happens with Flacco but he will have competition. The Ravens signed a former Indoor League quarterback Friday and were said to be looking into Colin Kaepernick. The current signee is an underdog to topple Mallett but if a serious diagnosis leads to Kaepernick, that would be a strong threat to Mallett.
