Stantley Thomas-Oliver III Helps Panthers Make History

With the 221st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in the seventh round, the Carolina Panthers selected Florida International cornerback Stantley Thomas-Oliver III. As a result, for the first time in the common draft era, the Panthers used all of their picks on the defensive side of the ball. Carolina added to the offense through free agency, so they turned their attention to improving the defense through the draft, clearly. Thomas-Oliver is new to the cornerback position but played well in 2019 and has ball skills from his days as a wide receiver. He's obviously a project in the secondary, but who isn't at this point in the draft?
