Tyler Boyd News
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (thigh) finished with two catches for 40 yards in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran looked good early in this one. However, he suffered a left thigh injury in the second quarter, so he was a non-factor for the remainder of the night. The 29-year-old finished the regular season with 58 receptions for 762 yards and five touchdowns. While the duo of Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase will continue to limit Boyd's ceiling as long as he stays in Cincinnati, he'll remain a flex option in deep fantasy setups heading into the 2023-24 campaign, barring a severe injury to his leg.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd didn't have the best year of his career, finishing with 58 catches for 762 yards and five touchdowns. Without a doubt, the presence of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins has caused Boyd's production to fall over the last few seasons. He also hasn't been much of a producer in his two postseason appearances in 2022-23, amassing just four receptions for 49 yards. With that said, Boyd has been known to put together some potent DFS performances from time to time, so he at least commands attention as a flex option against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd finished with one catch for 23 yards in Sunday's win over the Bills. It certainly was a disappointing performance from the veteran. However, in all fairness, Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine handled a chunk of the plays on offense. Nevertheless, despite Boyd's lack of production from time to time, his ceiling remains relatively high, especially since he can get hot on occasion. DFS participants should view him as a risky flex option for the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tyler Boyd was never going to remain a fantasy WR2 after the Bengals took Ja'Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He went from averaging 7.8 targets per game in 2020 to just 5.9 targets per game in 2021, Chase's rookie season. He finished the season as WR37 on a per-game basis in PPR formats. He still played a high percentage of snaps, just wasn't targeted on nearly as many of his routes, which makes sense given Chase and Tee Higgins are both incredible talents on the...
