Will Fuller Being Monitored By Teams

Veteran free-agent wide receiver Will Fuller is being monitored by multiple NFL teams, according to league sources, but he is regarded as more likely to join a club later in the preseason. Fuller, who played in just two games due to a finger injury with the Miami Dolphins last year, won't have any fantasy appeal unless he lands in a situation where he'll have a legitimate chance to start, which is unlikely. The 28-year-old has been an injury-prone, boom/bust deep threat in his time in the NFL. The former first-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2016 has never played in a full season and finished with 53 catches for 879 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns in his final season in Houston in 2020.

Will Fuller Not On Browns Radar

Former Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller is not currently on the Cleveland Browns radar, even though a source said he'd love to come play with quarterback Deshaun Watson again. Second-year wideout Anthony Schwartz still has plenty to prove, but he has similar speed and skills, and the Browns are hoping he can fulfill some of those downfield duties this year. Fuller, 28, had surgery earlier this offseason on his broken left finger, but it's unknown where he is in his rehab. He played in just two games with the Miami Dolphins last year due to foot and finger injuries. When healthy, Fuller can provide a team with an explosive deep threat down the field, but he's been maddeningly inconsistent in fantasy, mainly due to injuries throughout his career.

Mutual Interest Between Browns, Will Fuller

There is mutual interest between the Cleveland Browns and free-agent wide receiver Will Fuller, according to sources. Fuller is still only 27 years old and caught 69% of his targets when Deshaun Watson was his quarterback in Houston. Fuller has other teams interested, but he likes the idea of reuniting with Watson in Cleveland. The Browns also very much want to re-sign Jarvis Landry, and it's unclear if they'd add both pass-catchers in free agency. Fuller had a disastrous year with the Miami Dolphins in 2021, playing in just two games due to a finger injury. In his last year, in Houston, Fuller had a career-high 53 catches for 879 yards and eight touchdowns in only 11 games. He has an extensive injury history, but he'd be worth a late-round dart throw in fantasy if he reunited with Watson as a home run deep threat.

Will Fuller Recovering From Finger Surgery

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) recently underwent surgery on his fractured finger. He was limited to just two games in 2021 and hadn't played since Week 5. The 27-year-old caught four of eight targets for 26 yards last season. He is expected to make a full recovery before training camp starts. Fuller signed a one-year contract with Miami the previous off-season and will become a free agent in March. The former Houston Texan could latch onto a team in search of wide receiver depth, but Fuller has had trouble staying healthy and has yet to play an entire season throughout his career.

Will Fuller Has Another Setback

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) suffered another setback, according to head coach Brian Flores. Fuller has been out since Week 5 with a fractured finger, and he's now likely to miss the final three games of the season. The 27-year-old started off the year on the wrong foot while finishing up a suspension, but he underwhelmed in two games on the field, too, catching four of his eight targets for 26 yards. Fuller would've have given Miami's passing attack a solid deep threat to stretch the field, but his finger injury has knocked out the majority of his season. The Dolphins are getting rookie Jaylen Waddle back from the COVID list, so he and DeVante Parker will headline the team's receiving group in a Week 16 Monday night matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Fuller belongs on the waiver wire in all redraft leagues.

Will Fuller Won't Practice This Week

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) will not return to practice this week. The 27-year-old will miss his ninth straight game with a broken finger in Week 13 against the New York Giants. The Dolphins are on their bye in Week 14, so Fuller could come off Injured Reserve and play in just his third game of the season in Week 15. The deep threat has caught four of eight targets for 26 yards in his two games played in 2021, and it's been a lost season in his first year in Miami. Once he does return and is fully healthy, Fuller will likely serve as the No. 3 behind rookie Jaylen Waddle and DeVante Parker, and he won't be a recommended play during the fantasy postseason.

Will Fuller Still Not Ready To Return

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) is "getting better" but still isn't ready to return, according to head coach Brian Flores. The Dolphins will re-evaluate Fuller when they begin practice preparations for the week on Wednesday. Fuller remains on Injured Reserve and hasn't played since Week 4. It's a mystery as to why he hasn't returned yet from his broken finger. In just two games played in 2021, Fuller has four receptions for 26 yards on eight targets. Rookie Jaylen Waddle has been the team's undisputed No. 1 receiver and target hog in 2021, and Albert Wilson and Mack Hollins have stepped up in recent weeks with both Fuller and DeVante Parker on IR, but Waddle is the only real reliable Miami pass-catcher on a weekly basis in fantasy. Fuller should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.

DeVante Parker, Will Fuller Up In The Air For Week 12

Miami Dolphins wide receivers DeVante Parker (shoulder) and Will Fuller (finger) are both eligible to return from Injured Reserve this week, but head coach Brian Flores said the team will see how the week goes first. Parker and Fuller will need to return to practice first and prove to the coaching staff that they are ready to play in a Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, a defense that has allowed the fewest passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. Getting both Parker and Fuller back would be a huge boost for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but it would also be bad news for rookie Jaylen Waddle, who has been the team's top aerial target all year. Parker may be worth stashing in deeper leagues if you need receiving help, while Fuller will be a boom/bust deep threat with a QB that hasn't taken many deep shots in his two seasons.

Will Fuller Unlikely To Play In Week 11

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger) is not expected to play in Week 11 against the New York Jets, according to head coach Brian Flores. Fuller has missed all but two games this season, catching just four passes for 26 yards. Considering his limited game action and time to build a rapport with his quarterback, it is safe to drop the 27-year-old to the waiver wire. Even if he does come back in the near future, Jaylen Waddle has commanded the role as the Dolphins' No. 1 wide receiver because of his low average depth of target. Fuller thrives in the deep passing game, which is pretty much nonexistent in the Miami offense because of their offensive line struggles.

Will Fuller Already Ruled Out For Week 10

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller (finger), who remains on Injured Reserve, will not play in Week 10 on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Fuller has been out since breaking his finger in Week 4 and he's played in only two games this season after finishing out a suspension during the first two weeks of the regular season. He's caught four of his eight targets for 26 yards in his two games played for Miami and should remain on the waiver wire in the vast majority of fantasy leagues. With DeVante Parker (hamstring, shoulder) also on IR, Mack Hollins was the team's No. 2 receiver behind rookie Jaylen Waddle on Sunday, catching three of six targets for 22 yards and a touchdown. Outside of Waddle, though, it's hard to trusts any of Miami's receivers for consistent production, especially if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (finger) misses another game.
