DeVante Parker News
New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker is difficult to trust in fantasy football ahead of his Week 4 clash against the Dallas Cowboys. For starters, Dallas has a strong defense that could impose its will against New England on Sunday. Additionally, although Parker played 76 percent of offensive snaps last week, he caught just two passes for 19 yards. Perhaps his poor production can be blamed on rainy conditions, but other potential explanations also exist. It's incredibly possible that no Patriots wide receiver can be trusted in fantasy football, as has been the case in years past. If you're rostering Parker, leave him on the bench this Sunday.
New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee) remained limited in practice Thursday, per Evan Lazar of the team's official site. The 30-year-old is likely having his reps managed after his 2023 debut was delayed until Week 2 due to a knee injury. Parker looked no worse for wear in that one, tallying six receptions on eight targets for 57 yards as an every-down player. The veteran wideout is likely to be fine for Week 3's divisional tilt against the New York Jets, and might already be pushing JuJu Smith-Schuster for quarterback Mac Jones' attention. Even assuming Parker gets the green light for Sunday, he may not be an exciting fantasy play in what could be a slow-paced defensive slog.
New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Parker has dealt with this knee issue for quite some time now, which caused him to miss Week 1. However, the veteran returned in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins and played 100% of the team snaps. He caught six passes for 57 yards on eight targets in his season debut. With Parker practicing in a limited fashion this early in the week, he should be a full-go in Week 3 when the Patriots play the New York Jets. The 30-year-old wideout will have two more chances to practice in full before Sunday.

New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker caught just 31 of his 47 targets for 539 yards and three touchdowns in his first season with the team. The 30-year-old produced a 156-yard game in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens but was silent until Week 18 when he caught two touchdowns. At this point in his career, he's nothing more than a low-volume contested-catch receiver and likely won't be on the fantasy radar in 12-team leagues. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyqaun Thornton should serve as...
