DeVante Parker News
Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Falcons. He last played in Week 4 against the Colts. With Parker out, look for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to focus on wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and tight end Mike Gesicki against a weak Falcons secondary. Gesicki had 115 yards last week against Jaguars and should be a strong DFS play on this slate.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker (shoulder, hamstring), listed as questionable, is looking iffy for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Parker seemed to take a step in the right direction, as he was a limited participant at practice after not taking the field for any sessions the previous week. Fellow wideout Preston Williams (groin) is also questionable for the contest. If Parker misses another game, look for rookie Jaylen Waddle, coming off of a 10-catch, 70-yard, two-touchdown game, to command a large number of targets once again in an excellent matchup against Atlanta. Mike Gesicki should also continue to see his fair share of work in the passing game. Both are strong plays Sunday.
Miami Dolphins wide receivers DeVante Parker (hamstring, shoulder) and Preston Williams (groin) are both listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons. Both Parker and Williams were limited in practice all week, so they both have a decent chance of suiting up on Sunday after missing the Week 6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The 28-year-old Parker has missed the last two weeks, but he should return to being a top two receiver alongside rookie Jaylen Waddle if he's active against Atlanta. He has 17 catches on 32 targets for 242 yards and a touchdown in four games in 2021. Waddle led the team with 10 catches (13 targets) for 70 yards and two touchdowns last week with Parker and Williams sidelined, while Mack Hollins caught four of his five targets for 61 yards.
For the past two seasons, DeVante Parker has been the unquestioned alpha in the Dolphins' passing attack. He's led the team in targets back-to-back seasons. His breakout 2019 campaign led to him inevitably being overvalued in 2020 drafts. Parker...
