The Arizona Coyotes have placed forward Adam Ruzicka on unconditional waivers to terminate his contract. The decision comes after Ruzicka posted a video on social media of himself with a white powder appearing to be cocaine. The 24-year-old Slovakian center only recently joined the Coyotes after being waived by Calgary. Ruzicka was the Flames' fourth-round draft pick in 2017. He has posted 40 points (14 goals, 26 assists) in 117 career games, including nine (three goals, six assists) in 42 appearances this season. Ruzicka didn't manage to do any scoring in three games with the Coyotes as he averaged only 8:17 of ice time.
Calgary Flames center Adam Ruzicka will re-enter the lineup on Wednesday against Nashville. The Slovakian forward jumps back into action after sitting out Monday's clash with Seattle as a healthy scratch. Connor Zary is expected to come out of the lineup. Ruzicka had a great start to the campaign, logging four points in four games, but he's failed to add to his tally since then in nine games. The 24-year-old has seen limited usage and won't be in a great position to make an impact on Wednesday either, as Ruzicka is expected to see only fourth-line minutes.
Calgary Flames center Adam Ruzicka (shoulder) won't play in Sunday's Heritage Classic matchup against the Oilers. He hurt his shoulder earlier in the week in a game against the Rangers and will be forced to sit out a second consecutive contest. Ruzicka boasts two goals and two assists through seven appearances this season but went three games without a point before getting injured. The 24-year-old will get his next chance to return Wednesday versus Dallas.
Calgary Flames forward Adam Ruzicka (shoulder) won't be in the lineup Thursday versus St. Louis. He hurt his shoulder a couple of days ago against the Rangers and still needs some more time off to recover. The team considers him day-to-day. Ruzicka has enjoyed a decent start to the season on Calgary's third line, contributing two goals and two assists in seven outings. A.J. Greer, who sat out the Rangers game as a healthy scratch, looks set to re-enter the lineup in Ruzicka's absence.
Calgary Flames forward Adam Ruzicka is set to sit out Wednesday's contest against Arizona as a healthy scratch. Walker Duehr is projected to replace him after getting a call-up from the AHL. Ruzicka impressed early in the campaign, but he has gone scoreless in all of his last 16 appearances and received only 6:21 of ice time Monday against Philadelphia, so it's no surprise to see the 23-year-old getting pulled from the lineup. Ruzicka's failure to make an impact on the ice has led to him getting scratched multiple times since the turn of the year. He has skated in only 41 games, getting six goals and 14 assists.
Calgary Flames forward Adam Ruzicka put together a three-point performance in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win against Florida, scoring two goals and handing out one assist. He opened the scoring 15:13 into the game on the power play and also netted an even-strength marker in the second frame. The 23-year-old finds himself skating in a first-line role, and Ruzicka has come up big in recent games, with this being his third multi-point effort in four outings. He's also on the second power-play unit, and a guy who has quickly racked up eight points in seven games definitely deserves attention from fantasy managers.
