He sustained an undisclosed injury in Friday's loss to the New York Rangers and must now sit out at least one week of action. Recently, Jokiharju has played a larger role in the Bruins defense due to Charlie McAvoy's (face) absence. He logged a season-high 20:51 of ice time on Friday, posting one assist. By placing Jokiharju on Injured Reserve, the Bruins were able to recall Michael Callahan from the AHL. He will make his fourth appearance of the season against Detroit. Buffalo Sabres defenseman Henri Jokiharju (illness) is set to rejoin the lineup for Sunday's battle with Chicago. The 24-year-old has been unavailable for a pair of games due to an illness, but he's on track to play against his former team. Jokiharju, who joined Buffalo from Chicago in 2019, has shown some good form this season, logging seven points (two goals, five assists) in 15 outings with 18 shots on net, 12 hits, 22 blocks, and a plus-two rating.
