Lucas Carlsson Comes Out Of The Lineup Wednesday
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Lucas Carlsson, who made his season debut on Tuesday against Nashville, isn't expected to play in Wednesday's rematch. The 23-year-old had a quiet night in his first game of the season, recording one shot in 15:36 on the ice but not much else. Nicolas Beaudin is now set to get his first action of the season. The 21-year-old is a former first-round pick, who posted 15 points in 59 AHL games in 2019-20. Head coach Jeremy Colliton is forced to do some shuffling on the blue line with Adam Boqvist (COVID protocol) missing. Carlsson played on the top pairing with Duncan Keith but it's not yet clear if Beaudin will take up the same spot.
