Marc-Andre Fleury News
Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has announced that he wants to stay with the team for the 2023-24 campaign. The veteran netminder has just wrapped up his first full season with Minnesota. He had a decent campaign with a 24-16-4 record in the regular season, but Fleury logged just 76:41 of action in the postseason and took a bad 7-3 beating from Dallas in his lone start. However, Fleury, who will turn 39 in November, wants to remain with the team, even as a backup. The three-time Stanley Cup champion has one more year left on his contract that carries a $3.5 million cap hit.
Minnesota Wild goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will start against the Winnipeg Jets Tuesday. In his previous outing, Fleury allowed four goals out of 31 shots losing to Pittsburgh. Thursday was the fifth time in his last six games that he has allowed three or more goals while recording a 3-2-1 record. Tonight, he will most likely face Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck. Winnipeg has won four out of their last five games and are desperate for a win.

Against his former club, Fleury saw action on February 9th, where he picked up a loss allowing five goals on 23 shots. Vegas has won seven of their last ten games and have a 22-15-1 record at home this season.
Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury produced an excellent performance and was very close to his third shutout of the season in Monday's 5-1 victory over the Kraken. Jaden Schwartz ruined Fleury's clean sheet with just nine minutes remaining in the third period. The Flower stopped 35 of 36 shots in the game, showing very sharp form after allowing 12 goals across his previous three appearances. After having a season-worst three-game losing streak last month, Fleury responded with a superb 8-0-1 run. The veteran is carrying a 24-13-4 record for the year and has registered a 2.81 goals-against average with a .909 save percentage.
