Robby Fabbri Unavailable Tuesday Versus Oilers

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri will skip Tuesday's game against Edmonton for personal reasons. Fabbri has been anonymous on the ice lately, and a chance to reset might do good for him. He has gone scoreless in nine of his 14 appearances since the turn of the year. The 28-year-old was much more productive earlier in the campaign and has collected 21 points (13 goals, eight assists) through 39 games for the season. Fabbri's absence will allow Klim Kostin to re-enter the lineup against his former team. Following a good spell with the Oilers, Kostin has struggled in Motown, logging only four points (three goals, one assist) in 30 appearances.

Robby Fabbri Tallies Two Points Against Rangers

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri was the main driving force offensively for the team on Wednesday versus the Rangers, picking up a goal and an assist in a 3-2 defeat. He had a power-play assist when Moritz Seider tied the game at one and gave Detroit the lead with his fifth goal of the campaign, but the Red Wings offense disappeared in the third period. Fabbri has enjoyed a very good run of form lately, logging five of his seven points this season across the past four games. He's played in seven consecutive games after missing time earlier in the season with a lower-body injury.

Robby Fabbri Re-Enters Red Wings Lineup On Saturday

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (rest) will rejoin the lineup for Saturday's battle with the Blue Jackets. He returned from a lower-body injury Tuesday against the Rangers, but Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde didn't want to play Fabbri in consecutive games, which led to his absence on Thursday versus Montreal. Fabbri logged 12:42 of ice time on the third line in Tuesday's matchup. He's set to continue in a third-line role on Saturday, having skated with Joe Veleno and Christian Fischer in Friday's practice. Defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere is also expected to return after being a healthy scratch on Thursday.

Robby Fabbri Ready To Return On Tuesday

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (lower body) is ready for game action again and will rejoin the lineup for Tuesday's battle against the Rangers. He has missed 11 games after scoring on opening night against New Jersey. Fabbri is projected to skate on the third line with Joe Veleno and Daniel Sprong. We've seen very little of Fabbri in recent years due to injuries, but he has been a productive player when healthy, averaging 0.57 points per game for his Red Wings career.

Robby Fabbri Ruled Out For Four Weeks

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (lower body) has been ruled out for four weeks. He was initially expected to miss just one game but has been absent for three matches already, and it's turned out Fabbri's lower-body injury is much more severe than first thought. However, luckily, the team has confirmed that the injury isn't knee-related. Fabbri has already had a number of knee issues in his career, so it's good to know that it's something different this time. The 27-year-old tallied a power-play goal on opening night before dropping out of the lineup. Fabbri's injury has opened the door for Michael Rasmussen to join the top six, and he's played well, collecting a goal and an assist across the last two games.

Robby Fabbri To Remain Out Monday

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (undisclosed) is expected to miss a second consecutive game Monday versus Columbus. Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde initially hoped to have Fabbri available after he sat out Saturday's 6-4 win over Tampa Bay, but it looks like he needs a bit more time to recover. Fabbri was actually present at the morning skate but wasn't a full participant in the practice session. Detroit opened the season with Fabbri on the second line with J.T. Compher and Lucas Raymond, but the line had a whole new look Monday morning as Andrew Copp and Michael Rasmussen worked with Compher.

Robby Fabbri Expected To Miss Saturday's Contest

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (undisclosed) will likely miss Saturday's matchup versus Tampa Bay. He bagged a late power-play goal in Wednesday's season opener against New Jersey but also apparently suffered an undisclosed injury in the contest. Luckily, Fabbri isn't expected to be out for long, with Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde noting that he could be an option again on Monday against Columbus. Considering his injury history, Fabbri deserves some luck in that department, and hopefully, he can indeed make a quick recovery from his latest ailment. It's not currently completely clear who will replace him on the second line on Saturday.

Robby Fabbri Back For Red Wings Wednesday

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (upper body) is expected to be back in the lineup for Wednesday's preseason clash versus Pittsburgh. The 27-year-old was injured early in the game against Washington on Saturday. Fabbri hopes to make a positive impression in preseason after being unavailable for most of 2022-23. He took the ice just 28 times for the Red Wings, tallying seven goals and nine assists. Aside from his injury, Fabbri has had a good preseason, as he boasts two goals and an assist through two outings.

Robby Fabbri Not Expected To Be Out For Long

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri (upper body) is not expected to be out long-term. Fabbri, who's had some ridiculously awful luck with injuries throughout his career, was hurt in Saturday's preseason game versus Washington. He bagged a power-play assist in 5:50 of action before getting sidelined. The 27-year-old was limited to 28 games for Detroit last season but performed well, registering seven goals and nine assists. Hopefully, Fabbri can enjoy an injury-free campaign in 2023-24. He's set for a middle-six role in Motown.

Robby Fabbri Likely Finished For The Season

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri (lower body) isn't expected to return this season. He suffered a lower-body injury earlier in the month, and whilst the team was initially hopeful of having him available again before the season is done, the mood is now different in the Red Wings camp. Fabbri's season debut also got delayed by an injury, so he completes the 2022-23 campaign with only 28 games played. The 27-year-old scored seven goals and handed out nine assists.

Robby Fabbri Out For At Least Two Games

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri (lower body) has been ruled out for the weekend's home-and-home series against Boston. He suffered a lower-body injury Wednesday against Chicago and has landed on the shelf after having made only 28 appearances this term. The good news is that Detroit head coach Lalonde expects to get Fabbri back before the season is over. Pius Suter is set for a bigger role in Fabbri's absence, having practiced on the first line Friday.

Robby Fabbri Exits With A Lower-Body Injury

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri sustained a lower-body injury in Wednesday's game against Chicago. He was seen limping late in the first period and didn't return to the ice after the first intermission. Fabbri has had three knee surgeries, so hopefully, it's a different kind of injury. The 27-year-old has tallied seven goals and nine assists across 28 outings this season. Jonatan Berggren and Dominik Kubalik are the main candidates to step into the top six if Fabbri can't play Saturday versus Boston.

Robby Fabbri Exits With Injury

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri couldn't complete Tuesday's matchup against Washington, limping to the locker room late in the game after blocking a shot. The 27-year-old had three blocks in total in the contest and helped the team to a nice 3-1 road victory. It's currently unclear if Fabbri suffered a serious injury. He'll be desperate to avoid a stint on the sidelines after already missing most of the campaign following knee surgery. He's done well since getting back into action, putting up 14 points in 20 games. Fabbri had eight points in five games before going scoreless Tuesday.

Robby Fabbri Extends Multi-Point Streak

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri put in a third consecutive multi-point performance Thursday against Calgary, helping the team to a 5-2 victory. He scored his seventh goal of the season and had an assist, both on the power play, in the second period. Fabbri, who was playing in only his 18th game of the season, also had both of his points with the man advantage in the previous game against Edmonton. He has put in superb work on the first power-play unit and is also nicely tucked in on the second line. A knee injury pushed Fabbri's season debut to Jan. 4, but he is making up for lost time and could continue to crush it on the power play in the next game against the Kraken, who have the league's second-worst penalty kill with 71.6 percent.

Robby Fabbri Rested On Saturday

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri will come out of the lineup Saturday versus Toronto. He has only just returned from a knee injury and the team doesn't want to play him in both games during a back-to-back situation. Fabbri played his second game of the season Friday against Florida and scored his first goal in a 3-2 loss. Elmer Soderblom is set to come in for Fabbri on Saturday, and we should see him again Tuesday versus Winnipeg. Soderblom has been hot in his recent appearances, going scoreless only once in his past seven outings. The Swedish rookie has collected eight points in total in his first 20 career games.

Robby Fabbri Ready For Season Debut Wednesday

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri (knee) will make his season debut in Wednesday's matchup against New Jersey. He has been recovering from off-season knee surgery and hasn't actually played for nearly 10 months, with Fabbri's last appearance coming on March 10, 2022. The 26-year-old has averaged 0.50 points for his career in 302 appearances, putting up 73 goals and 79 assists. He will start out on the third line but could be in contention for top-six minutes soon if plays well enough. Ahead of his season debut, Fabbri has also secured a spot on the second power-play unit.

Robby Fabbri Sustains A Lower-Body Injury

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to Minnesota, exiting the game in the second period. The injury robbed him of a chance to extend his goal-scoring streak to four games. Head coach Jeff Blashill didn't have an update on Fabbri's status after the game, but we should know more on Friday. The team will have a night off before facing Calgary on Saturday. Fabbri is one of Detroit's best goal-scorers with 17 markers and has managed to notch 30 points across 58 outings. His potential absence will open up a spot on the second line.

Robby Fabbri Strikes Twice Against St. Louis

Detroit Red Wings forward Robby Fabbri scored both of the team's goals in Thursday's 6-2 loss to St. Louis, tallying three total shots with four hits in 18:54 of ice time. Fabbri is a former Blues draft pick, so this was a nice revenge game performance. The 25-year-old has taken over from Tyler Bertuzzi (COVID-19 protocol) on the top line, and he's now found the back of the net in back-to-back games. Fabbri has produced eight goals in total and 14 points in 27 appearances this season.

Robby Fabbri Makes It Three Goals In Seven Games

Detroit Red Wings winger Robby Fabbri scored his third goal of the season in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Nashville, adding two shots, two hits, and two penalty minutes with a plus-two rating. Marc Staal netted one as well for the Red Wings, whose record dropped to 3-10-2. Fabbri missed a bunch of time due to COVID-19, but he's back now and has two goals in his last three appearances. He's up to three goals in seven games for the year, which isn't bad at all on an awful team. Fabbri was likely dropped and forgotten in your league during his time on the COVID-19 list, but he's a talented guy and should be on your watch list.
