Zachary Fucale Debuts for Washington, Shuts Out Detroit
Washington Capitals goaltender Zachary Fucale made his season debut against the Detroit Red Wings. He promptly stopped all 21 Red Wings shots in a 2-0 win on Thursday night. Fucale was helped by a Detroit team that just had difficulty generating anything of substance all night. Detroit had more than 80 seconds of a two-man advantage without hitting the goal once. It was just one of those nights for Detroit against Washington. Give Fucale a lot of credit, though, as the goaltender stopped everything that came at him.
