DFS NBA Picks

DFS PicksHope everyone is having a great start to the week with some cyber Monday shopping and making that money back with bets. Let’s make some more money with DFS lineups. We got a seven game slate tonight, which leads us to a plethora of options for your lineups.

For the DFS projections and pricing, we will be using FanDuel and DraftKings.

NBA Quick Links

Point Guard

Scottie Barnes (DK: $8,700): Scottie Barnes is an all-around player that is perfect for DFS lineups. He can give you a line of 18-8-7 on any given night. It has been six straight games where he has scored 33 or more fantasy points on DraftKings. The Phoenix Suns do not have a lot of size that coincides with the ability to matchup with a big guard like Barnes. Barnes is a good option at either point guard or small forward.

Keyonte George (FD: $5,700, DK: $6,100): Keyonte George has been on the bright spots for the Utah Jazz this season. The rookie point guard is struggling with his shooting, but he has shown flashes. His passing is better than some expected and showcased that in the last matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies with 11 assists. George is nice option with his value.

Shooting Guard

Paul George (FD: $8,600, DK: $8,800): Paul George had a stinker in his last game, but that was an outlier in what has been a great season for George. The Los Angeles Clippers are still a roller coaster organization, but George has been the number one positive for them all season. The Sacramento Kings just had a playoff atmosphere-level game last night against the Golden St. Warriors, which gives the Clippers the advantage. The Kings are already not a great defensive team, but on the second night of a back-to-back, Paul George can really feast tonight.

Jaden Ivey (FD: $5,800, DK: $5,700): The Detroit Pistons have finally taken Jaden Ivey out of the doghouse. With that being said, Ivey has been pretty solid for the Pistons. He has had some big fantasy games as well with his last two seeing him get at least 32 fantasy points. The Pistons are realizing that they are going nowhere this year and Ivey is part of the future and needs to play.

Small Forward

Franz Wagner (FD: $7,400, DK: $7,500): The Orlando Magic are shocking the world right now. They are a top three seed in the Eastern Conference and are clicking on all cylinders. One of the reasons for this amazing start is the emergence of Franz Wagner. In his last 10 games, Franz has scored at least 30 fantasy points in eight of them. Furthermore, the Washington Wizards are a bad defensive team. Franz can have an amazing performance tonight against the lowly Wizards.

Ausar Thompson (DK: $6,500): The Detroit Pistons love Ausar Thompson. His hustling and defense is superb on this putrid Pistons squad. His price today is extremely valuable for a guy who will get some rebounds to go with steals and blocks. Ausar just needs to add some points and you can get a 25 fantasy point scorer for $6,500.

Power Forward

Paolo Banchero (FD: $7,700, DK: $8,200): We already talked about the Orlando Magic and how important Franz Wagner has been for this surprise start. However, the clear number one on the team is Paolo Banchero. Paolo is a 30 point fantasy scorer this season now. He is finding his stride and putting it all together, despite him only being in his second season. Also, you cannot forget about the matchup being in his favor just because it is the Wizards.

Santi Aldama (FD: $6,200, DK: $6,400): The Memphis Grizzlies have been awful this season. They have been extremely disappointing even without Ja Morant. However, someone has to play good for them in games. Desmond Bane has usually fit that bill, but Santi Aldama has been solid as of late. In his last five games, he has had 24 or more fantasy points four times. He has become a bright spot in this very rough 25 game stretch without Morant.

Center

Joel Embiid (FD: $12,300, DK: $11,800): This is not a difficult decision here. You can easily go with Nikola Jokic, but I think Joel Embiid is not only the best center option tonight, but the best player on the board tonight. Embiid is a walking 30 points per game, regardless of how he gets those points. His rebounding is there, but his passing has also taken a big uptick. The New Orleans Pelicans do not have a truly great option to guard Embiid. Embiid will be a dominant force tonight that you can’t ignore.

Moritz Wagner (FD: $5,400, DK: $5,100): We talked about Franz, let’s talk about his brother now. Moritz Wagner is actually one of the better cheap options on the board. Moritz comes off the bench ready to score for this Magic team. He is averaging 21.1 fantasy points per game over his last 10 games. For that price, Moritz is a great choice if you want to go for more expensive players elsewhere.
