Fantasy Football Streaming Picks
After looking through the Week 4 streaming options, streaming tight end options project as the most favorable. Outside of Ryan Fitzpatrick, the streaming quarterbacks look less appealing unless higher rostered players such as Joe Burrow and Gardner Minshew II are available. Although the Broncos defense facing the Jets seems like a favorable option, the loss of Jurrell Casey and A.J. Bouye is worrisome on Thursday night. Let’s dive into the Week 4 streaming quarterback, tight end, and defense picks.

Quarterback Streamers
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB – vs. SEA (7% Rostered)
The Seahawks offense is rolling, meaning more passing for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Through three weeks, the Seahawks defense allowed 30 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (No. 2). Last week, Fitzpatrick threw only 20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns, but that is due to the Dolphins playing with a lead for most of the game. It is safe to expect a higher passing volume with the potential for 275 yards passing and a pair of passing touchdowns. With a weak Seahawks defense, Fitzpatrick ranks as the top Week 4 streaming quarterback pick.
Baker Mayfield, QB – at DAL (43% Rostered)
Recommending Baker Mayfield as a quarterback streamer makes me nervous with Kevin Stefanski as head coach and the Browns run-heavy approach. Mayfield ranks 30th in team pass plays per game (29.7), 22nd in air yards (713), and 27th in yards per attempt (6.6). He passed for under 200 yards in two out of three starts with 219 passing yards as his season-high. Maybe, just maybe, this is the week where Mayfield puts up a top-15 fantasy performance.
Teddy Bridgewater, QB – vs. ARI (17% Rostered)
Although we recommend streaming the Cardinals defense against the Panthers, Teddy Bridgewater is a streaming quarterback option in Week 4. As mentioned earlier, this is a week to avoid streaming quarterbacks if possible, with most streaming options facing less favorable matchups. Bridgewater has 872 passing yards (No. 7), 8.4 yards per attempt (No. 6), and two passing touchdowns (No. 30). He is the third-best Week 4 streaming option unless you see Joe Burrow or Gardner Minshew II hanging around on waivers.
Streaming Tight Ends
Logan Thomas, TE – vs. BAL (33% Rostered)
We are trusting the 24.2% target share (No. 2), 101 routes run (No. 4), 195 air yards (No. 5), and 23.1% air yards share (No. 5) with Logan Thomas. The low production is due to the poor target quality from Dwayne Haskins, as seen with the 6.35 target accuracy (No. 33) and -34.0 Production Premium (No. 28). The Ravens rank middle of the pack with 8.9 fantasy points allowed (No. 14). However, trust his air yards, targets, and target share as one of the top Week 4 streaming tight end options.
Dalton Schultz, TE – vs. CLE (31% Rostered)
The Browns allow the 4th most fantasy points (12.0) to the tight end position, and Dalton Schultz projects as the other top Week 4 streaming tight end option. Over the past two games with no Blake Jarwin, Schultz logged 16 targets, 13 receptions, 136 receiving yards, and one touchdown. He ranks 7th with 20 targets and 15th with 110 air yards. Schultz should continue his involvement in the Cowboys offense and take advantage of a favorable matchup for tight ends.
Eric Ebron, TE – at TEN (27% Rostered)
Monitor the Covid-19 news since five Titans players and three staff tested positive, and thus there is a risk of a postponed game. The Titans allow the 6th most fantasy points to tight ends at 11.4 through three weeks. His targets gradually increased from two, five, and seven while ranking 19th on the season in targets and target share. Through Week 3, Ebron logged 151 air yards (No. 12) and an 18.7% air yard share (No. 10), and he displayed efficiency with an 8.1 yards per target (No. 11). Ebron ranks third on the list of Week 4 streaming tight end options.

Streaming Defenses
Los Angeles Rams vs. NYG (57% Rostered)
Check if the Rams defense is available since they face the struggling Giants offense. In some leagues, the Rams defense is hanging on waivers with their Week 3 matchup against the Bills. Daniel Jones faced difficult matchups against the Steelers, Bears, and 49ers. Through three games, Jones has two touchdowns, four interceptions, and sacked nine times. The Rams rank as one of the top streaming defense options, and honestly, one of the best defense options overall in Week 4.
Arizona Cardinals at CAR (43% Rostered)
Through three weeks, the Cardinals defense looks better than expected with 11 sacks and 20.3 points allowed. Keep in mind the Cardinals faced the 49ers at full health, the Washington Football Team, and the Lions. With no Christian McCaffrey, the Cardinals should sack Teddy Bridgewater a few times and limit scoring opportunities. The Cardinals rank as a top-12 option this week and middle of the pack streaming defense option.
Houston Texans vs. MIN (3% Rostered)
Last week, the Titans rated as a sneaky streaming defense against the Minnesota Vikings. I could not confidently recommend the Titans with several better streaming options. Although the Texans have not recorded a turnover, they recorded seven sacks through three games with four sacks against the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. We know the Vikings love running the ball with the limited passing upside since Cousins averages 26 pass attempts per game. As mentioned earlier, if you can avoid it, then it is best to avoid digging deep in the streaming defense pool.
