FantasyData Products & Pricing Changes

FantasyData Changes Products and Prices: July 2020

For the past two years, we have been hard at work trying to create new products and improve existing products.  Those include things like adding Advanced Metrics, launching a DFS Optimizer, and investing in top-quality content by proven industry experts.

Due to all the changes and improvements, we needed to make some changes to both the products we offer and their respective prices.  If you’re currently a paying customer for one of FantasyData’s products, please read on how these changes may affect you.

If you were a Premium Membership subscriber (either Single Sport or All Sports)…

Your membership level has now changed to a Basic Membership.   Depending on which sport(s) you subscribe to, your price has either remained the same or has gone down, which you can check on either your My Subscriptions page, or our Pricing Page.

What is included in a Basic Subscription?

Everything is the same as it was previously when you had a Premium Membership (e.g. access all tools for whichever sports you subscribe), except that our Advanced Metrics tools and DFS Optimizer has been removed and included only within our Premium and PremiumPlus Memberships.

Why the change?

We felt only two product categories did not give enough flexibility for the variety of users out there.  And with all the improvements we’ve made over the last two years, we needed to raise the prices on our more robust memberships (Premium and PremiumPlus) but didn’t want to exclude offering an economical plan for those customers who want great content and tools, but don’t need the more advanced product features, so we now offer this Basic Membership.

How do I get access to the Advanced Metrics tools and/or the DFS Optimizer?

You can now make all kinds of changes to your account, including upgrading from Basic to Premium and from Premium to PremiumPlus by visiting your My Subscriptions page.

If you were a PremiumPlus Membership subscriber (either Single Sport or All Sports)…

The monthly price of your membership most likely has gone up.  Different leagues have required us to raise prices to different levels, so you can check the new price of your PremiumPlus Membership by vising either your My Subscriptions page, or our Pricing Page.

What’s different and why are prices going up?

The key value of our PremiumPlus Membership is your ability to download all of the data, in either XML, JSON, or CSV/Excel.  As we have launched new tools over the last two years, the amount of data a PremiumPlus Membership can download from those tools has greatly increased, and we wanted to re-align pricing to reflect that value.

Also, previous PremiumPlus Memberships had access to our Advanced Metrics tools as view-only, but now as part of the price increase, that data is downloadable!  Grab a download report now by checking out any of our Advanced Metrics pages for either NFL, NBA, or MLB!

What if I want to make changes to my PremiumPlus Membership?

You can now make all kinds of changes to your account, including upgrading and downgrading.  And if you’re not wanting to continue with your PremiumPlus Membership because of these changes, we’re happy to offer any prorated refunds from the time of this change.  Most changes can be made right within your My Subscriptions page.

If you are a FantasyData API customer

This change does not affect our API products. Everything you were getting remains the same, including output of data, endpoints, and the price you’re paying.
