Jerry Jeudy Fantasy 2023
Since he entered the league as the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jerry Jeudy has not quite lived up to his potential. Whether it has been injury, inconsistency at quarterback, or simply not transitioning well into the NFL, Jeudy has yet to top 1,000 yards for the Denver Broncos. When Denver finally added a Hall of Fame-level quarterback in Russell Wilson, many assumed that this would be the push Jeudy needed to reach the next level. As a surprise to most, Wilson and the entire Broncos offense was nothing short of terrible in 2022. Wilson only threw for 16 touchdowns all season, and the Broncos had the worst-scoring offense in the NFL. Despite this, Jeudy actually tallied his best season to date stats-wise. With 972 yards and 6 touchdowns in 15 games, Jeudy has restored some of the hype around his name, and there is a chance he can finally become a top talent in the NFL. Going into the 2022 season, it was uncertain if Jeudy or Courtland Sutton would become Wilson’s new top target. After a strong end to the season for the Jeudy-Wilson connection, it has become clear that Jeudy is firmly Wilson’s go-to guy. With a new-look offense under Super Bowl-winning head coach Sean Peyton, the sky is the limit for Jerry Jeudy and the Denver Broncos.
Jerry Jeudy’s footwork is something ELSE 😳
Jeudy said recently that he hopes to “start” next season like he “finished” last season.
Jeudy’s last three games last season totaled 18 receptions and 309 yards.

Current ADP
- ADP: 55
- Positional ADP: WR 25
Jerry Jeudy’s ADP of WR25 is interesting, as many of the receivers near that ADP could have a wide range of outcomes. A few receivers being drafted near Jeudy’s ADP are Deandre Hopkins, DJ Moore, and Christian Watson. It would not be outrageous to pick Jeudy above any of them as they all have question marks of their own. Hopkins and Moore both joined new teams as the clear WR1, but both teams are run-first offenses with questionable passing games. Watson could be a home run like he was in the second half of last year, but he will no longer be catching passes from 4x MVP Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. Others near Jeudy in ADP are Drake London, Chris Godwin, and Mike Williams. London will likely have a large target share, but again, the Falcons do not love to pass the ball. They substantiated that by drafting Bijan Robinson 8th overall in the 2023 draft. Chris Godwin is always underrated and could be a sneaky pick at his ADP, but it is yet to be seen if Baker Mayfield will be able to sustain fantasy receivers in Tampa Bay. Mike Willians is massively talented, he’s getting older and has had lots of trouble with injuries throughout his career. The Chargers also drafted Quentin Johnston in the first round who will be looking to vulture some targets from Williams. Jeudy certainly has some question marks of his own, but I believe his upside makes him a valid choice over any of these receivers in his ADP range.
Fantasy Insight
It might be scary to trust the Broncos after their horrifying season offensively in 2022, but Jerry Jeudy is poised for what could be a true breakout season. I know it seems like Jeudy has been a breakout candidate every year he’s been in the NFL, but the stars might just align in 2023. The beginning of his season last year was just like the Broncos’ as a whole: Not good, but flashes of potential. In weeks 1-8, Jeudy averaged 11.6 PPR points and was beginning to look like a lineup liability. After the Broncos’ bye week, Jeudy injured his ankle toward the start of their game against Tennesee, forcing him out for the next 2 games. After that period though, it seemed like he and Russell Wilson truly began to figure things out offensively. In Juedy’s last 6 games, he averaged 18.5 PPR points and did not look to be slowing down. In the last game of the Broncos’ season, Jeudy tallied a career-high 154 yards in their win against what would become the #5 seed LA Chargers. Not only did Jeudy end the season with a head of steam, but he also gained Sean Peyton as a head coach. Peyton has led some high-powered offenses during his time as an NFL head coach, and he is looking to turn the ship around in Denver. Jeudy was the subject of some trade talks throughout the offseason, but Peyton and the Broncos doubled down on him stating that they had no interest in sending the receiver to another team. While they did spend their first draft pick of 2023 on Oklahoma Sooner Marvin Mims, it is clear that Jeudy will be leading the Denver receiver room for the foreseeable future.
Fantasy Value
With an ADP of 58, Jeudy is in the company of a handful of receivers who could have boom or bust seasons. Out of the lot of them though, I feel as if Jeudy has the best ceiling/floor ratio. The Broncos have some talented runningbacks in Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine, but it seems like they are keen on tapping the throwing talent of Russell Wilson as much as they can. After all, they didn’t send the Seahawks 2 first-round draft picks, 2 second-round draft picks, a fifth-rounder, and 3 players so they could hand the ball off all game. If Jeudy can maintain his momentum from the end of 2022, he could turn out to be a great value for his ADP. While it seems to be trending in that way, Jeudy’s injury history could be the main concern for fantasy managers. It’s always tricky deciding whether to ignore injuries or avoid players at their ADP because of them, but it is worth mentioning that Jeudy has had quite a few during his football career. I don’t think these concerns are worth deterring managers from Jeudy though, as he could be in for a big 2023 season.

Dynasty Value
2023 is a big year for Jerry Jeudy. He is only 24 years old, and the Broncos just picked up his 5th-year option to keep him under contract for at least the next 2 seasons. If he shows out this year and gets a big extension, Jeudy could be a very valuable pick in Dynasty. Because he is so young, Jeudy could be an enticing prospect for managers in a rebuild. At the same time, a 2023 breakout season could make Jeudy a valuable piece of win-now rosters as well. Jeudy’s ADP in dynasty is 43, which jumps him up 12 spots from his redraft ADP. This jump is because of his favorable age and chances to break out, but it does make him a bit more of a risk to draft. He is being drafted in dynasty as WR21, which again puts him around players like Christian Watson, Chris Godwin, and Brandon Aiyuk. Again, he would be a solid pick among this company, but he is in a similar situation as Aiyuk. Both receivers have been waiting for their breakout seasons, and promising 2022 performances have people hoping 2023 will be the year they really take off. Between these two, it’s a toss-up. If you live in Colorado, pick Jeudy. It could be a fun ride!
Bold Prediction
I believe Jeudy is one of the more talented receivers in a stacked AFC West, and 2023 is his time to shine. If Denver gets their act together and Russell Wilson remembers how to throw like he did in Seattle, Jeudy could be in for a top-12 scoring WR year in 2023. Of course, injuries play a factor, but when he’s healthy, I think he’ll be someone you want in your lineup. Be careful not to overpay too much, but Jeudy could be quite the steal at his ADP.
