Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Andre Jackson has made the opening day roster, according to manager Dave Roberts. The 26-year-old appeared in four big league games last season, posting a 1.86 ERA and striking out nine batters in just over nine innings. He put up similar numbers this Spring, so it appears he'll at least begin the year with the Dodgers. However, his stock has fallen a bit over the years, so he'll need to be a consistent producer to keep his spot in the pen.

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Andre Jackson has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Jackson is taking the place of Michael Grove, who was placed on the injured list. The 26-year-old reliever has a 0.00 ERA over 5 2/3 innings of relief at the big league level this season. He'll give the Dodgers some bullpen depth over the final stretch of the regular season.

Los Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Lux has been sidelined since July 19 with a left hamstring strain. With Lux sidelined, shortstop Corey Seager returned from the injured list and the club acquired middle infielder Trea Turner to play second base. Lux was struggling on the year with a .227 batting average to go along with six home runs and 37 RBI and his role moving forward will be that of a bench player. Between his struggles earlier in the year and his lack of opportunities moving forward, Lux can remain on the waiver wire. In a flurry of moves, the Dodgers also recalled relief pitcher Evan Phillips and optioned pitchers Andre Jackson and Conner Green.
