Felix Jorge Recalled From Double-A, Will Start Friday
Minnesota Twins pitcher Felix Jorge has been recalled from Double-A Chattanooga and is slated to make his second MLB start against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Jorge made his debut against the Kansas City Royals on July 1, picking up the win while allowing three runs in five innings and striking out two. The Twins needed to add a starter to their rotation after Hector Santiago was placed on the disabled list with back discomfort. Jorge is regarded as one of Minnesota's better pitching prospects and is worth monitoring for owners in deep dynasty leagues. Alan Busenitz was sent to Triple-A Rochester in a corresponding move to make room for Jorge on the active roster.
