The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Tyler Naquin (calf, knee) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and placed starting pitcher Jefry Rodriguez (shoulder) on the injured list in a corresponding move with a right shoulder strain. Naquin had 25 hits in 90 at-bats (.278) with a homer, 10 RBI and three stolen bases before his injury. He could have value in deep mixed and AL-only leagues, but only if he sees regular at-bats in Cleveland's outfield. Rodriguez had been a shaky streaming option in deeper leagues with a 1-5 record, 4.74 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 32 strikeouts in his 43 2/3 innings over eight starts for the Tribe.

He allowed one run on two hits in his four innings, striking out three and walking three in his 58 pitches. The 25-year-old has been up and down in his first season with the Tribe, posting a 4.74 ERA with 19 walks and 32 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings. It's unclear if this injury will land Rodriguez on the injured list. He's merely a deep league streaming option when he's on the bump for the Indians.

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Jefry Rodriguez struggled on Monday, tossing just 4 1/3 innings while allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and three walks. He struck out six while needing 101 pitches to get just 13 outs. The outing raised his ERA to 4.99 and dropped his record to 1-5. After a few solid outings, Rodriguez has had a hard time getting outs lately and he's unlikely to keep his rotation spot once Mike Clevinger (back) returns from the IL.
