Los Angeles Angels left-hander Kenny Rosenberg will make his first start of the season in Thursday's series opener against the visiting Oakland Athletics. Rosenberg will be making just his fifth career start since debuting for the Halos in 2022. The 29-year-old southpaw has made only two appearances out of the bullpen in the big leagues in 2024 and has surrendered seven earned runs on 12 hits (two homers) while walking four and striking out seven in 10 innings of work. Monday night will mark the 28-year-old's second career start and sixth appearance in the big leagues while he sports a 5.09 ERA with seven strikeouts and another seven walks across seven innings of work in his brief MLB tenure to this point. He'll battle an Orioles offense that is tied for ninth with a .330 wOBA versus left-handed pitching this season.
