Mahtook isn't even a good option in AL-only formats.

The CF situation in Detroit has been a mess all season long--and, really, ever since the Tigers traded away Cameron Maybin in the offseason. JaCoby Jones started the season there, but the position has been a revolving-door of a platoon ever since. However, in 16 games since May 31, Mahtook is hitting .357 with a .595 slugging percentage and a .952 OPS. Though he's gotten most of his work when there is a lefty on the mound, his splits are similar — .250 against right-handers and .255 against lefties. He's basically left manager Brad Ausmus with no choice but to play him, as the struggling Tigers will take any hot bat they can get. As long as he's hot, he provides some value and depth in AL-only or the deepest mixed leagues.
