Nick Goody Gets Designated For Assignment Thursday
Texas Rangers right-handed pitcher Nick Goody was designated for assignment Thursday, with the club adding infielder Andrew Romine to the active roster in his place. Goody made 17 appearances (one start) for Texas this year, recording his first career save back in July. Despite posting a 9.00 ERA, Goodys K/9 sat at 10.6, with an increased usage of his slider (32.4% whiff rate). He holds no fantasy intrigue at this point, but hes likely to join a new relief corps ahead of 2021.
Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Nick Goody (elbow) left during Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He did not look good and allowed two hits and two runs in just two-thirds of an inning. It's assumed that the Indians are going to take an MRI on Goody's elbow. He's not even worth owning in the deepest of leagues right now.
