Although, Montas has struggled lately, but it would be surprising to see him stay down in Triple A for long. The A's may acquire rotation help which would mean that Montas would likely move to the bullpen or stay in the minors. Montas was worth owning in AL-only and deeper leagues, but it's unclear what the A's plan to do with him. Ryan Dull owns a 6.00 ERA over 20 appearances this season. This is likely just a short-term move to get a fresh arm in the bullpen.

Dull was hit by a line drive in the eighth inning against the Mariners on Wednesday. He stayed in the game but was visibly in pain afterwards. Dull will likely ease his way into a late-inning role with the A's, and could be in line to close should the A's trade current closer Santiago Casilla at the trade deadline. Dull is not worth a roster spot unless he grabs that closing role, however.
