Texas Rangers outfielder Scott Heineman has been recalled from the minors on Friday. He will play center field and bat seventh versus lefty Tyler Alexander. Heineman was hitting .372/.435/.581 with six homers in the minors before being called up. It's unclear how much playing time he'll actually see in Arlington. He could be worth a look in AL-only leagues if he sees decent playing time.

The injury has prevented Heineman from being considered as a potential call-up these last couple of week. Heineman has had a good season at Triple-A, with a .292 batting average, seven home runs and 15 stolen bases in 382 plate appearances. Heineman is likely now next in line if the Rangers need to add outfield depth and should at least see some time in the majors when rosters expand in September. However, it is unlikely Heineman plays regularly if called up and that somewhat limits his fantasy value.
