Chet Holmgren News
Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren put together yet another fun stat line during Wednesday's Summer League game against the Sacramento Kings. He played 25 minutes in the game and compiled eight points, five rebounds, five steals, three assists and one three-pointer while shooting 3-for-8 from the field. Holmgren's full skill set has been on display during Summer League play as he's made some great passes and shown fantastic defensive awareness. He's sure to see a lot of run on a rebuilding Thunder team this year, making him a potential fantasy stud for the 2022-23 season.
Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren had yet another strong performance in Monday's Summer League game against the Orlando Magic. He compiled 16 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks while shooting 7-for-10 from the field and 2-for-4 from three-point range. The second overall pick in this year's draft certainly hasn't disappointed this summer. He's been regularly providing ample rebounds, blocks and three-pointers. His skillset is extremely fantasy-friendly and with no one standing in the way of his playing time on the Thunder, he's someone worth reaching for in fantasy drafts this fall.
Oklahoma City Thunder power forward/center Chet Holmgren finished Wednesday's Summer League win over the Grizzlies with 11 points and 12 rebounds, showcasing his nightly double-double potential. While his shooting performance wasn't nearly as notable at 3-for-11 overall, the seven-footer added three assists and two blocks across his 26 minutes. The second pick from the 2022 NBA Draft will have more offensive competition once the regular season begins, but his upside as a two-way impact player has been evident from the get-go.
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Chet Holmgren looked fantastic during the win over the Utah Jazz, finishing with a game-high 23 points. The No. 2 overall selection of the 2022 NBA Draft set a few Summer League records on Tuesday by blocking six shots and draining four of his attempts from deep. He added seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal while also going a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. Holmgren appears to be making an early case for Rookie of the Year honors. Considering he should start right away in OKC, he has an excellent chance of accomplishing that.
