Domantas Sabonis Will Miss at Least 3-4 Weeks

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (knee) will miss at least the next three to four weeks, according to the latest from ESPN's Shams Charania. Sabonis was already ruled out for the second game of the team's back-to-back on Thursday, but now there's a clearer timeline of just how long he'll miss. While he's out, Drew Eubanks, Precious Achiuwa, and Maxime Raynaud will fill in at center. Eubanks started in his place on Wednesday and will likely see the biggest boost, although the team could take the opportunity to take a look at second-round pick Raynaud as well. The Kings are only 3-12 through their first 15 games, and without Sabonis, they could sink even lower over the next few weeks. In better news, they'll have forward Keegan Murray (thumb) available for his season debut on Thursday against the Grizzlies, and maybe he'll be able to help pick up some of the slack during Sabonis's absence as well.

Domantas Sabonis Will Not Play Thursday Against Memphis

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (knee) will miss his second straight game on Thursday night when his team visits the Grizzlies in Memphis. He also sat out on Wednesday, in what was thought to be just a rest day to have him ready for Thursday's contest. Instead, he'll miss both games of the back-to-back, but the team hasn't given any update as to a timeline for his return. He could be back as soon as Saturday against the Nuggets, but there definitely seems to be more going on than initially expected. Sabonis has been very productive when available, but he has been limited to 11 games this season. Without him on Thursday, Drew Eubanks and Precious Achiuwa will get more minutes in the middle in Memphis.

Domantas Sabonis to Miss Wednesday's Game

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (knee) will sit out the first leg of a back-to-back on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After playing through a ribcage contusion lately, Sabonis has been listed on the injury report with left knee soreness. Drew Eubanks looks set to fill in for Sabonis in the first unit and will have some fantasy appeal. Meanwhile, Precious Achiuwa also figures to be more involved in the rotation without Sabonis. However, it's going to be a tricky contest for Sacramento's backup bigs, as the Thunder give up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing centers.

Domantas Sabonis Considered Questionable for Sunday

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) is considered questionable for Sunday's clash against the San Antonio Spurs. He has played in four consecutive contests despite being listed as questionable each time, so it appears likely that Sabonis will remain in the lineup on Sunday. However, if he suffers a setback, the Kings will likely hand the starting center job to Drew Eubanks, who recently filled in for Sabonis in the first unit a couple of times. Eubanks averaged 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in those contests.

Domantas Sabonis Good to Play on Friday

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) will play on Friday versus Minnesota. His presence on the injury report is nothing new. Fortunately, it won't keep him off the floor for the NBA Cup meeting with the Timberwolves. The 29-year-old hasn't had the best 2025 campaign, averaging 15.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals. However, Sabonis is still a double-double threat whenever he's on the floor, and he could turn things around once he starts feeling better. With Sabonis available, it will likely mean even less work for Drew Eubanks.

Domantas Sabonis Considered Questionable for Friday

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) is considered questionable for Friday's NBA Cup tilt against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sabonis has regularly been on the injury report lately due to a left ribcage contusion. However, he has played in each of the past three games, suggesting that the Kings will likely upgrade him to available ahead of Friday's tip-off. If Sabonis is ruled out, Drew Eubanks will probably handle a larger workload, with Precious Achiuwa potentially also logging some extra minutes.

Domantas Sabonis Will Play Tuesday Night

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) was listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup with Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets, but he has been upgraded to available. He played through a questionable tag on Sunday against the Timberwolves as well, finishing with 20 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 30 minutes. He should be set for his normal workload again on Tuesday night, and he has been taking more shots this season, which gives him a very high ceiling as a multi-category producer for the up-tempo Kings in what should be a high-scoring matchup Tuesday night.

Domantas Sabonis Uncertain for Tuesday's Action

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) is back on the injury report with a questionable designation ahead of Tuesday's encounter with the Denver Nuggets. On Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sabonis returned to action after missing two games due to a ribcage contusion. However, he is still experiencing discomfort from the injury and may miss Tuesday night's game. Sabonis' absence has allowed Drew Eubanks to log a few starts. The 28-year-old is averaging 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game as a starter. On Tuesday, Eubanks could have added fantasy value again, although it will be a challenging matchup against a Nuggets team that allows the fourth-fewest points in the league to centers. Additionally, Nikola Jokic's crew holds the ninth-highest rebounding rate.

Domantas Sabonis Questionable for Sunday vs. Timberwolves

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (rib) is listed as questionable versus the Timberwolves. He's dealing with a left ribcage contusion, missing the last two games against Golden State and Oklahoma City. If he returns, expect lighter minutes and less physical play inside as Sacramento eases him back, which could slightly cap his usual scoring and playmaking numbers. If Sabonis remains out, Drew Eubanks profiles as a short-term streamer for boards and defensive stats, while Russell Westbrook, DeMar DeRozan, and Zach LaVine should handle most of the scoring and playmaking. Newly signed forward Precious Achiuwa logged only nine minutes in his Kings debut, finishing with four points, four rebounds, and one steal, but he's worth a spot on watch lists in deeper formats if Sabonis remains out longer than expected.

Domantas Sabonis Will Not Play Friday vs. the Thunder

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) will miss a second straight game on Friday when the Kings host the Thunder in one of the late games on Friday's jam-packed schedule. Sabonis missed the season opener and was also sidelined on Wednesday against the Warriors, when Drew Eubanks started in his place and had 12 points, six rebounds, and two blocks in 32 minutes. Recently signed Precious Achiuwa played nine minutes off the bench and had four points and three rebounds, while French rookie Maxime Raynaud played a season-high 15 minutes and had six points and three rebounds. Eubanks, Achiuwa, and Raynaud will all get more work against the Thunder's tough interior defense, and Eubanks could be a great value as a DFS or streaming option if you're in search of affordable center production.
