Bulls
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, power forward EJ Liddell has agreed a deal with the Chicago Bulls. The 23-year-old Illinois native moves to Chicago after being released by the Phoenix Suns. The Suns waived Liddell two weeks ago after acquiring him in an offseason trade from the New Orleans Pelicans. After going 41st in the 2022 draft, Liddell tore his right ACL, delaying his NBA debut. He made his first eight appearances in the league last season with the Pelicans, averaging 2.9 minutes. The young forward has done very little in the Association, but he showed off good ability with the Birmingham Squadron in the G League, notching 17.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in 2023-24.

EJ Liddell Let Go By Suns
Phoenix Suns forward EJ Liddell was waived on Wednesday. The 23-year-old had spent just four weeks as a member of the team. The Suns acquired Liddell from Atlanta last month in exchange for David Roddy. Liddell, a second-round pick in 2022, made his first eight NBA appearances with the New Orleans Pelicans last season. However, he logged only 23 total minutes. After also waiving Nassir Little, Phoenix expects big things from 21-year-old forward Ryan Dunn during his rookie year. Additionally, the moves opened up a roster spot for the team.

EJ Liddell Heading To Phoenix
The Atlanta Hawks traded forward EJ Liddell to Phoenix in exchange for forward David Roddy. The 2022 No. 41 overall pick sat out his official rookie season because of a torn ACL. However, he spent most of last season in the G League and appeared in only eight games for the Pelicans before being moved to the Hawks this offseason in the Dejounte Murray trade. At any rate, Liddell's arrival in Phoenix rounds out the roster while helping the team save some cash. But he isn't expected to see much attention from fantasy managers at any point during the 2024-25 campaign.

EJ Liddell Finds His Rhythm On Sunday
New Orleans Pelicans forward EJ Liddell posted a strong shooting night on Sunday despite taking the three-point loss to the 76ers. The Ohio State product finished with 23 points on 7-for-10 shooting while adding one three, two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and shooting 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. Liddell signed a multi-year deal with the team this summer and has a chance to get some rotational minutes if he continues to improve. There's a bit of a logjam at the forward spots on the Pelicans, but they also tend to have injury issues. With that being said, Liddell shouldn't be on fantasy radars just yet.

Pelicans Sign EJ Liddell To Three-Year Deal
New Orleans Pelicans forward EJ Liddell was on a two-way contract with the team until he tore his ACL during summer league last year. After a year of rehab, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the 22-year-old will sign a three-year deal worth $6.2 million with the team. Liddell was a three-year player at Ohio State and averaged 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game during his last year. He'll play his first summer league game since last season on Friday.

EJ Liddell Tears ACL
New Orleans Pelicans forward EJ Liddell (knee) tore his ACL during Monday's Summer League clash with the Hawks. The injury was originally classified as a sprain. However, after further testing, the news was much worse. The 21-year-old averaged 19.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 2.5 assists throughout 32 games with the Buckeyes last season. While Liddell had plenty of hype entering the 2022 NBA Draft, he is now out indefinitely, although the possibility remains he could miss the entire 2022-23 campaign.
