Michael Porter Jr. Inactive Against Pacers Wednesday

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) won't suit up for Wednesday's clash against the Indiana Pacers. He remains on the injury report with right knee tendinitis. In Porter Jr.'s absence, Danny Wolf joined the starting unit on Monday against Chicago. The 21-year-old rookie has done a good job all year when given the opportunity to start, averaging 10.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 blocks in 28.0 minutes. Wolf may be even more productive on Wednesday against a defensively-challenged team. With Porter Jr. sidelined, the rest of the Nets starters also gain added fantasy value due to a higher share of offensive responsibilities.

Michael Porter Jr. Will Miss Monday's Game

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) won't play against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. He has been ruled out for the game due to right knee tendinitis. Porter Jr.'s absence creates an intriguing situation, as he leads the Nets in scoring with 25.0 points per game. The rest of the squad must pick up the slack on the offensive end. Meanwhile, Danny Wolf is poised to replace Porter Jr. in the starting lineup, having regularly filled in for him in the past. Wolf averages 10.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists as a starter.

Michael Porter Jr. Available Against Lakers

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (personal) will rejoin the action on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Brooklyn's leading scorer missed a pair of games late last week for personal reasons, but the team has removed him from the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game. Danny Wolf has enjoyed a stint as a starter, but he will likely return to the second unit on Tuesday, with Noah Clowney (back) also expected to play. In his last outing, Porter Jr. had a special 38-point performance against his former team, the Denver Nuggets. He is averaging a career-high 25.8 points for the season, adding 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

Michael Porter Jr. Out on Sunday Night

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (personal) won't play on Sunday versus Detroit. He had a game-high 38 points on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets, his former club. However, Porter will now miss his second-straight contest after sitting out Saturday's win over the Utah Jazz. With Noah Clowney (back) also out, Egor Demin, Danny Wolf, and Cam Thomas are the favorites to lead the way offensively in a meeting with a tough defensive squad.

Michael Porter Jr. Won't Play Friday Night

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (personal) won't take the court on Friday against the Utah Jazz. Porter Jr. had a monster game on Thursday against Denver, scoring 38 points in 37 minutes in a matchup with his former team, but he will sit out Friday's action for personal reasons. Brooklyn will have Egor Demin (foot) and Cam Thomas (hamstring) back in the lineup against Utah, and they will take over some of Porter Jr.'s offensive touches. Meanwhile, Danny Wolf could again hover around 30 minutes.

Michael Porter Jr. to Be Rested Sunday

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (rest) won't be in action on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. The team has decided to rest him for the first leg of a back-to-back. Porter Jr. is Brooklyn's leading scorer, and without him on the floor, the rest of the starting unit gets to play a larger role on offense. Meanwhile, Danny Wolf is expected to step into Porter Jr.'s starting role, as he has done in the past. The 21-year-old rookie has averaged 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals as a starter.

Michael Porter Jr. Resting on Sunday

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (rest) won't play on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Brooklyn will rest its leading scorer for the first leg of a back-to-back. Porter Jr.'s absence opens up a starting spot and a huge amount of offensive touches. Cam Thomas, Egor Demin, and Noah Clowney could all handle heavier offensive loads. Danny Wolf filled in for Porter Jr. in the starting unit the last time he was out. The 21-year-old rookie averaged 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in that role.

Michael Porter Jr. Cleared for Friday

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) will play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The team upgraded his status on the injury report from probable to available. The 27-year-old has shaken off knee soreness and will continue to lead Brooklyn's offense on Friday. Porter Jr. averaged 28.3 points in December and has been even more productive in his first few outings in January, notching 30.5 points per game. Since the Clippers have the fifth-worst defensive rating in the NBA, Porter Jr. could be in line for another prolific scoring performance on Friday night.

Michael Porter Jr. is Tagged as Probable for Friday

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Porter is feeling a little sore after a knee-to-knee collision with Wendell Carter Jr. during Wednesday's game versus the Orlando Magic. It didn't seem to impact his performance as he finished with 34 points, five rebounds, and three steals during the loss. Danny Wolf would likely be asked to take on a larger role if Porter is unable to play. He normally only plays minutes in the teens, but could offer low-end streaming value with an expanded role.
