Jaylen Nowell And Josh Minott Both Available For Game 4
Minnesota Timberwolves guard and forward Jaylen Nowell and Josh Minott have both been upgraded to available for Game 4 on Sunday night against the Denver Nuggets. Minott is unlikely to crack the rotation, but Nowell has been a prominent backup for the team throughout the year. He should see around the 19-20 minutes that he was seeing per game in the regular season.
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Josh Minott (ankle) popped up on the injury report with an ankle sprain and is officially considered questionable for Friday's Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets. The 20-year-old hasn't been in the main rotation for the team so this won't affect their chances of winning this game. He also shouldn't be on anyone's DFS radar unless some drastic injuries occurred.
Josh Minott Posts His Second Double-Double On Thursday
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Josh Minott came up with his second double-double in Summer League play on Thursday. Facing the Brooklyn Nets, he racked up 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds -- including seven offensive boards. He also added three three-pointers, two assists, two steals and a block. On the negative side, he shot just 5-for-17 from the field. Minott has had an extremely inconsistent Summer League. He started things off strong with a 22 and 10 outing, but he's struggled with his shot ever since and he's committed a whopping 21 personal fouls over his four games. The 19-year-old will likely be a project for the T-Wolves, but he certainly has an array of intriguing skills to build around.
