Joe Harris News
Brooklyn Nets forward Joe Harris (glute) will miss Sunday's matchup against the Cavaliers. The veteran is currently dealing with a left gluteal strain and is in danger of missing a game or two into the postseason. With Harris out of the lineup for the season finale, Bruce Brown and Nicolas Claxton could see some extra run, with both men combining for 26 points during Saturday's win over Chicago.
Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. This marks the first game of the entire season that Harris has missed. The playoffs start next week, so this is likely just the Nets giving Harris a rest day. James Harden (hamstring) is expected to suit up after missing the last five weeks. He should soak up a majority of the minutes left from the absence of Harris.
Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Joe Harris went for 20 points on 6-for-12 shooting in Friday's win over Boston, finishing 4-for-7 with the three-ball and 4-for-4 at the line. He grabbed four rebounds, dished out three assists and swatted away two shots in 35 minutes on the color. Harris is among the best three-point shooters in the league, nailing an amazing 48.3 percent of his treys. Doing damage from deep might be difficult in the next matchup, though, as the Nets take on a Phoenix team that allows the opposition to hit only 34.9 percent from downtown.
Brooklyn Nets forward Joe Harris caught fire from three-point range in a victory over the Rockets on Wednesday. Harris knocked down 7 of 12 three-point attempts for 21 of his 28 points, adding six rebounds while committing no turnovers in 37 minutes. The 29-year-old had just 16 points in his last two games combined, so this was a welcome sight, particularly with James Harden (hamstring) forced to leave the game. Harris gets a fantastic matchup on Thursday night against the Hornets, who have allowed the seventh-most three-pointers and sixth-most points per game to small forwards. He could be in line for even more usage if Harden can't suit up against Charlotte.
