San Antonio Spurs guard Marco Belinelli (ankle) is available or Wednesday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He has been banged up with an ankle issue, but appears good enough to play here. He should get a handful of minutes, but likely won't do enough to warrant ownership in DFS contests. Lonnie Walker IV and Keldon Johnson have been gaining some momentum, so both of them are expected to see significant playing time.
San Antonio Spurs guard Marco Belinelli (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Head coach Gregg Popovich has not given much of an update on Belinelli lately. It doesn't seem that the organization is in any rush to bring back the veteran guard. Lonnie Walker IV and Keldon Johnson will continue to see significant minutes while the Spurs are banged up. Walker is the better fantasy option out of the two.
San Antonio Spurs guard Marco Belinelli wants to re-sign in the NBA this summer, but hasn't ruled out other options. The 34-year-old veteran might consider playing in Europe if the current NBA season is lost. The 13-year veteran is averaging only 13 minutes per game this season with the Spurs. He likely won't have significant fantasy value on another NBA roster. Belinelli had some nice moments in the league, but his days of playing over 25 minutes per game are likely over in the NBA. Heading elsewhere to play might be his best chance to see significant playing time.
Marco Belinelli Records First Double-Double Of Year
San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Marco Belinelli landed in the double-double column with his 17-point, 10-rebound performance off the bench in Tuesdays loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Belinelli shot 5-for-11 from behind the arc against his former squad, tying his season high. What stands out are the rebounds, which gave him his first double-double since Nov. 19, 2016, while playing for the Hornets. The odds are that Belinelli is available in a good bit of fantasy leagues, with few players presenting better three-point options in category formats over the final two weeks. Who knows, he might even snag some additional rebounds, as well.
Marco Belinelli Drills Quartet Of Triples Off Bench
San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Marco Belinelli knocked down four threes en route to a 16-point performance during Sundays win over the Milwaukee Bucks. It marks just the second time since the All-Star break that Belinelli has hit a quartet of three-pointers in a contest, but he delivers great value when he finds the bottom of the net. He offers little else across other categories beyond his shooting, but he did add three rebounds and two assists Sunday, tantalizing owners just enough to consider him as a punt play with high upside on most DFS slates.
Marco Belinelli Plays Key Role Off The Bench In Win
San Antonio Spurs guard Marco Belinelli provided solid production off of the bench, contributing to a tough-fought win for the Spurs. Belinelli scored 17 points while shooting lights-out for the night, knocking down three of six from deep and seven of 10 from the field. The Italian also added one rebound, one assist and a pair of steals. Belinelli and the Spurs take a trip to Sacramento to face the Kings for the second matchup of the season between the two teams, and Belinelli looks to improve on a mere three points from their first meeting.
Bombs Away For Marco Belinelli, Bryn Forbes And Patty Mills
San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Marco Belinelli went for 16 points in 23 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 122-120 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, including four three-pointers. Shooting guard Bryn Forbes started the game and added 14 points with six rebounds and four triples in 31 minutes, while point guard Patty Mills connected for three treys while ending up with 17 points off the bench. The Spurs had a nice night from the perimeter, hitting 13-for-27 from behind the three-point line (48.1 percent). The trio will look to continue the strong perimeter shooting Saturday in New Orleans.
San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Marco Belinelli scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds, doled out three assists and came up with two steals off the bench in Friday's victory over the Timberwolves. The 12th-year pro was 5-for-14 from the field and 3-for-8 from beyond the arc as well as 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. He played a season-high 34 minutes as DeMar DeRozan (ankle) sat out the game. The 32-year-old has now scored in double-figures in five straight games, which ties a season high, and the five rebounds are his second most this season. Belinelli is averaging 19.8 points (14.8 points in January) and 3.8 three-pointers while shooting 53.3 percent from the field along with 55.6 percent from long distance over his last five games. Since the former first-round draft pick doesn't provide much besides points and three-pointers, he doesn't have much fantasy value. However, fantasy owners that could use a boost in those areas should look to nab him off the waiver wire while he is on this hot streak.
San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (hand) and guard/forward Marco Belinelli (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Both players reportedly looked fine at shootaround and will suit up for this contest. Dante Cunningham, Quincy Pondexter and Davis Bertans will all lose minutes from these two returning. Gay is not expected to have a minutes limit, so he should be safe to use in fantasy leagues on Wednesday.
San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Marco Belinelli (knee) was able to get up some shots during Wednesday's shootaround. He's listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Quincy Pondexter and Dante Cunningham would lose playing time if Belinelli is able to return.
