Matisse Thybulle News
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (illness) and small forward Matisse Thybulle (hand) have been designated as questionable to participate in Thursday's game versus the Heat. Embiid missed Tuesday's game with the illness, paving the way for Mike Scott to enter the starting five. Despite that bump in role, neither Scott nor Dwight Howard put together a particularly compelling stat line, leaving Tobias Harris as the likeliest beneficiary of another absence with increased scoring and rebounding roles. Thybulle's absence saw his minutes redistributed across the wing. Having scored in single digits in 10 of his last 11 games, Thybulle holds very little season-long intrigue, aside from those season-long managers desperate for steals in category formats. Check back prior to tip-off to get the final word on the statuses of both Embiid and Thybulle.
Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Matisse Thybulle was back in the starting lineup for Fridays win over the Chicago Bulls and his all-around effort led to him packing the stat sheet yet again. Thybulle played a career-high 36 minutes, as he collected seven points, four rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals. He is far from integral to the teams offense, but his defensive tenacity makes him an excellent DFS option should he get his hands to the ball. So long as Joel Embiid (hand) remains out, Thybulle seems like a safe bet to remain among the starting five, which could make him an appealing play Saturday against the Knicks, whom he did not have a pivotal role against in either previous career matchup.
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Matisse Thybulle (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. He missed nearly three weeks of action due to a right knee issue. He'll most likely be under a minutes limit for his first game back. Furkan Korkmaz and James Ennis will see less minutes going forward. Thybulle has some defensive fantasy value once he's back to full speed.
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Matisse Thybulle (knee) was a full participant for Wednesday's practice. He's been sidelined for the past three weeks, but is expected to return for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. The Sixers are likely going to ease him back into the rotation after missing three weeks of action. James Ennis is expected to lose some playing time going forward. Thybulle won't be an attractive fantasy option until he's back to full speed.
