Taylor Hendricks News
Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks (toe) is available ahead of Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Hendricks will make his return to the court following a three-game absence due to a left toe sprain. The return of Hendricks should shift Brice Sensabaugh back to the second unit. However, both of them should split up the playing time during this game. That being said, both players have a limited fantasy ceiling heading into this game.
Utah Jazz power forward Taylor Hendricks (toe) is carrying a questionable designation ahead of Friday's matchup against Atlanta. Following a three-game absence, Hendricks has returned to full practice, meaning he should have a good chance of shaking off the questionable tag on Friday. The 20-year-old had moved to the starting unit before getting injured and will likely fill the role again when he returns. Hendricks has tallied 9.2 points and 7.0 rebounds in 25.2 minutes as a starter. If he's back on the court Friday, Hendricks will find himself in a good spot to chase his first career double-double, as the Hawks are horrible defensively and remain without one of their best rebounders, Onyeka Okongwu (toe).
The Utah Jazz announced on Tuesday that forward Taylor Hendricks (toe) will be out at least one week after an MRI confirmed a ligament sprain in his left big toe. Hendricks sustained the injury during the second quarter of Monday's win over the Washington Wizards. Brice Sensabaugh started at small forward for the depleted Jazz in Wednesday's narrow defeat to the Chicago Bulls, tallying an efficient double-double with 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting, 12 rebounds, and two three-pointers in 30 minutes. Although the rookie first-rounder is worth considering in deeper fantasy leagues amid Hendricks' absence, Sensabaugh next squares off on Saturday with a Denver Nuggets group that's allowing the fewest FanDuel points to opposing small forwards this year.
Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) is ready for full on-court activities. The 19-year-old suffered a right hamstring strain during a late-June practice, but Hendricks has been given the green light to return to the court after missing the entire Summer League. The 2023 No. 9 overall pick is set to be John Collins' primary backup off the bench at power forward in the upcoming campaign. It's unlikely to be a role which leaves Hendricks with much immediate value in redraft leagues, but the rookie is someone to target more aggressively in dynasty formats.
