Andy Isabella Returns To The Bills

The Buffalo Bills re-signed wide receiver Andy Isabella to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to a league source. Isabella was cut on Tuesday with the team getting their roster down to 53 players, but he will return the very next day to serve as extra receiver depth in Buffalo for the start of the 2023 regular season. The former second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 out of Massachusetts spent time with both the Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens last year, catching only two passes for 21 yards in five games (zero starts). In his four NFL seasons, Isabella has 33 receptions on 54 targets for 447 yards and three touchdowns in 41 games (three starts).

Andy Isabella Released By The Bills On Tuesday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andy Isabella was released by the team ahead of Tuesday's roster cutdown deadline. Isabella signed on with the Bills after the Ravens released him in late July and there was an outside chance he could have cracked the Bills 53-man roster due to their lack of depth at the receiver position. Instead, they're going to roll with Trent Sherfield, Khalil Shakir, and Deonte Harty as their wideouts behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. All three receivers will likely get chances in the slot. Isabella will likely end up on some team's practice squad in the coming days.

Andy Isabella Earning Trust Of QB Room

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andy Isabella has reportedly come along quickly since joining the team on July 28. Quarterback Josh Allen is targeting him more often and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey said he has gained a lot of trust with the QB room. With a weak wide receiver group behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, it wouldn't be all that surprising if Isabella makes the team's 53-man roster and sees playing time in 2023. The 26-year-old posted a 4.31 forty-yard dash at the 2019 NFL Combine, so he's a big play waiting to happen with Allen's rocket arm.

Bills Expected To Sign Andy Isabella

Free-agent wide receiver Andy Isabella is expected to sign with the Bills. The 2019 second-round appeared in 41 games with the Cardinals and Ravens since entering the league, totaling 33 catches for 447 yards and three touchdowns. Baltimore released Isabella a few days ago, so it didn't take him long to find a new job. However, even if the 26-year-old earns a spot on the regular season roster for Buffalo, he probably won't offer much to fantasy managers, considering Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, and others are well ahead on the depth chart.

Andy Isabella To Work Out For Bills

Free-agent wide receiver Andy Isabella is set to work out for the Buffalo Bills on Friday. The 26-year-old wide receiver has been unproductive since being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft. Over four seasons, Isabella has played in just 41 games, catching 33 passes for 447 yards and three touchdowns. He was let go by the Arizona Cardinals last season and went on to appear in just two games for the Baltimore Ravens, rushing once for one yard. Even if Isabella signs with Buffalo and makes the 53-man roster, it's tough to see a path to fantasy relevance.

Andy Isabella Signs Reserve/Futures Deal

The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Andy Isabella to a reserve/futures deal. The 26-year-old was cut by the Arizona Cardinals in October. Isabella joined the Ravens practice squad before arriving on the active roster in Week 16. Isabella didn't do anything during his two games on the team. In fact, Isabella has three receptions over his last two seasons. It appears to be an uphill battle for Isabella to make the 53-man roster heading into next season. Fantasy managers shouldn't bother stashing Isabella.

Ravens Sign Andy Isabella To Practice Squad

The Baltimore Ravens officially signed former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Andy Isabella to their practice squad on Monday and waived wide receiver Bailey Gaither in a corresponding move. Isabella will give the Ravens thin receiving corps some more depth with Rashod Bateman (foot) currently injured. The 25-year-old was a former second-round pick of the Cardinals in 2019 out of Massachusetts, and he put up 33 catches on 54 targets for 447 yards and three touchdowns in 39 games (three starts) with Arizona before he was cut last week. In three games with the Cardinals this year, he caught just two of five targets for 21 yards and no touchdowns. It's unlikely that Isabella will see the field much in Baltimore, if at all.

Andy Isabella Signs With The Ravens

Free-agent wide receiver Andy Isabella signed with the Baltimore Ravens practice squad on Wednesday. The Arizona Cardinals released Isabella on Tuesday, and the Ravens quickly scooped him up. He had two catches for 21 yards over three games in 2022. The former second-round pick had 33 catches for 447 yards and three touchdowns over 39 games with Arizona. Isabella will be given a fresh start and will look to turn things around in Baltimore. The 25-year-old adds wide receiver depth to the Ravens but is not on the fantasy radar in 2022.

Andy Isabella Released By Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals released wide receiver Andy Isabella on Tuesday. Isabella was the team's second-round pick back in 2019 and finishes his Arizona career with 33 catches for 447 yards and three touchdowns over 39 games. Arizona selected Isabella with the 62nd overall pick in the 2019 draft, two picks ahead of D.K. Metcalf and four picks before Diontae Johnson. The Cardinals had been trying to trade Isabella for months but they will instead cut bait. They filled Isabella's roster spot by signing center Billy Price off of the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad. Isabella has a 4.31 40 time and is likely to draw some interest around the league.

Andy Isabella - Week 4 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Andy Isabella could see an increased role in the offense with injuries piling up at the wide receiver position in Arizona. The speedster hasn't had much of a role up to this point, as he has caught just two passes for 21 yards on five targets in three games. With A.J. Green (knee) ruled out and Marquise Brown (foot) and Rondale Moore (hamstring) being questionable, Isabella could be a potential deep-league dart throw in Week 4 if he sees an increase in playing time. His big-play ability is a good match for quarterback Kyler Murray, who is one of the better deep-ball throwers in the league.
