Callaway played 11 snaps last week, so fantasy managers shouldn't bother streaming him this week. It appears he's just being elevated as insurance for the team.

If Thomas' knee injury keeps him out of action for an extended period, Callaway could see playing time. However, he's far from the fantasy radar until proven otherwise.

He spent some time with the Denver Broncos this spring but was released right before the start of the season. He will look to provide some depth for a Titans team that could be without Treylon Burks (concussion) for another week or two. Callaway's best NFL season came in 2021 when he caught 46 balls for 698 yards and six touchdowns while with the Saints.

Sadly, he'll have to compete with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and K.J. Hamler for snaps in Denver. Possibly, Callaway could have value if someone gets injured or traded. Until then, Callaway can be ignored in fantasy formats heading into the new season.

Callaway finished second on the team in targets behind rookie first-rounder Chris Olave, but he did very little with his opportunities and dropped a potential touchdown when he was wide open in the end zone late in the first half. The 24-year-old has seen at least five targets in four of his last six games without Michael Thomas (toe) and Jarvis Landry (ankle), but he's done very little with those chances and is off the fantasy radar in 12-team leagues. Thomas is done for the year, but Landry could make it back in Week 10. Callaway hasn't gone over 36 yards receiving in his last five games.

The 24-year-old hauled in three of his seven targets for 36 yards in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. This is not the type of result the team wanted with Callaway having an extended role. He failed to make much of an impact and is going to be difficult to trust going forward. The Saints have a quick turnaround with a Thursday Night matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Callaway might have low-end flex appeal, assuming none of the Saints wide receivers get healthy. Although, it's tough to want to start Callaway after his dud this week.
