Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round. Grayson missed the first two days of practice before he was limited on Friday, which gives him a chance to play on Sunday. There is some opportunity for Tampa's pass-catchers behind No. 1 wideout Mike Evans now that Breshad Perriman (abdomen, hip) has been ruled out. Grayson caught six of eight targets for 81 yards and a touchdown in Week 17, but he was injured in the Week 18 regular season finale and didn't play in last week's wild-card win over the Philadelphia Eagles. If Grayson plays, he'll be a low-cost DFS sleeper at his $4,100 price tag at DraftKings.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. (hamstring) remained sidelined during Thursday's practice. He was joined on the sideline by fellow wideout Breshad Perriman (abdominal, hip) on Thursday. That being said, Mike Evans, Tyler Johnson, and Scotty Miller could be the starters for the playoff matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. The hope is that Grayson will be able to play since he was able to practice on Wednesday. He has a small sample size this season, but played well whenever given the chance. Grayson hauled in six receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 17. Possibly, Grayson could be a sneaky DFS option, assuming he's able to suit up against the Rams.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson Jr. (hamstring) was on the field for the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Grayson sat out of the wild-card win over the Philadelphia Eagles after getting injured in the Week 18 regular season finale, but it looks like he might have a chance to return for the Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Mike Evans remains Tampa's unquestioned No. 1 receiver with Antonio Brown no longer around and Chris Godwin (knee) done for the season. Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson operated in three-receiver sets alongside Evans last weekend, but they combined for three catches for 35 yards on six targets. If Grayson returns to face LA, both Perriman and Johnson will become even bigger long-shot DFS plays.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that wide receiver Cyril Grayson (hamstring) is out for the wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Grayson missed practice all week and was doubtful to play all along after getting injured in the Week 18 regular season finale. So the Bucs will be without Grayson, Chris Godwin (knee) and Antonio Brown to kick off the postseason, leaving Mike Evans, Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson as their top three wideouts alongside tight end Rob Gronkowski. Evans will be a top-five fantasy wideout as the unquestioned top receiving target for quarterback Tom Brady, with Perriman and Johnson being low-cost sleeper candidates for DFS gamers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson (hamstring) missed his second straight practice of the week on Thursday. Head coach Bruce Arians called Grayson doubtful to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, so fantasy managers expecting to use him as an under-the-radar DFS play on wild-card weekend should pivot and look elsewhere. Grayson played only six offensive snaps in the Week 18 regular season finale because of his injury. Antonio Brown is no longer on the team and Chris Godwin (knee) is done for the year, so Mike Evans could see a heavy target share alongside Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson in three-wide sets for Tampa. Perriman, who costs $4,600 on DraftKings, is the more attractive low-cost DFS sleeper in hopes that he can break a couple big plays.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson (hamstring) is considered doubtful to play in the wild-card game this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Grayson stepped up in Weeks 16 and 17 with Chris Godwin (knee) injured and caught nine of 11 targets for 162 yards and a touchdown, but he was injured early in the Week 18 regular season finale last week and is unlikely to play this weekend. The Buccaneers won't have Godwin the rest of the way, so they'll need Tyler Johnson, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller to step up behind No. 1 receiver Mike Evans against Philadelphia on Sunday. Evans and tight end Rob Gronkowski could be heavily targeted, while Perriman and Johnson will be low-cost DFS sleepers if Grayson is inactive.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that wide receiver Cyril Grayson's hamstring injury "isn't as bad as we thought," but he added that "his availability this week will be in question." Whether Grayson can suit up for the wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend may depend on how much work he can get in at practice during the week. After posting a 6-81-1 line in Week 17, Grayson played only six offensive snaps and wasn't targeted at all before leaving Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Breshad Perriman stepped up with five catches and 44 yards after Grayson's injury. If Grayson cannot play against the Eagles, Perriman and Tyler Johnson would round out three-wide sets with No. 1 wideout Mike Evans.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's matchup versus Carolina. The third-year man out of LSU injured his hamstring in the first quarter, an unfortunate occurrence considering he's scored a touchdown in two of his three appearances on the year. Undoubtedly, this is another tough blow for a Bucs' offense that has been turned upside down over the last few weeks. Nonetheless, if Grayson misses time moving ahead, Cameron Brate, Tyler Johnson, and Breshad Perriman will be the favorites to support Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski on the receiving end, at least for now.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson broke off a big play in Sunday's loss to New Orleans. The 27-year-old Grayson took advantage of a miscommunication with the Saints' defense- as he broke free down the field for a 50-yard score from Tom Brady. The LSU product saw two targets last week as he helped relieve the injured Antonio Brown (ankle)- though the former will head back to the bench with Brown expected back on the field following the team's Week 9 bye.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cyril Grayson finished with four receptions for 57 yards on a team-leading eight targets in Saturday's blowout loss to the Titans. The 27-year-old finished second in receiving yards to TE Tanner Hudson and put up an excellent showing. In five career NFL games played with the Bucs, Grayson has been very disappointing, managing only one reception for three yards on four targets. As he is buried deep on the team's WR depth chart, Grayson has absolutely no fantasy relevance heading into this season.
