Dalvin Cook News
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook rushed 15 times for 60 yards and caught six of his seven targets for 10 yards in the Wild Card loss to the New York Giants. Cook had a solid season with 1,173 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns, but the 27-year-old posted career-low yards per carry (4.4) and had the most attempts that went for negative yards in the NFL. Ultimately, he looks to be slowing down mightily, and Minnesota could opt to get another back involved in the offense to reduce his workload. Cook will still be a relatively early pick in 2023 fantasy drafts, but he's no longer a lock in the first round.
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook rushed for 1,173 yards this season, but he only surpassed 100 rushing yards in two of his 17 games played this season. In six games, he failed to reach 50 rushing yards. Ultimately, his ceiling hasn't been what it once was during his stellar career and for running backs to pay off in DraftKings, they need to hit the 100-yard bonus or catch a ton of passes. It's tough to project Cook to do either of these things, even though New York has been one of the weaker rushing defenses this season. Cook is more expensive than Joe Mixon, Tony Pollard, and Travis Etienne, all of who have more upside.
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (knee) briefly exited the field against the Chicago Bears in Week 18, but eventually returned to action. However, he totaled just 37 yards on 11 carries and caught one pass for no gain. Backup running back Alexander Mattison poached two rushing touchdowns near the goal line. Cook finishes the season with 253 rushing attempts for 1,136 yards and eight rushing touchdowns. He wasn't a weekly stud, but he ultimately was a solid fantasy option who played in every game this season.

In 2021, Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook continued his career trend of missing time with injury. Despite this, Cook was still a stud for fantasy managers. Cook had 1,157 yards and six touchdowns across 14 games in 2021. This, of course, included 200 yards and two touchdowns with his arm in a sling against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also able to make some hay in the passing game with 34 receptions on 49 targets from Kirk Cousins. Although with Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson on...
